Before, I had always thought that getting a will done would be hard. I went to Bowie & Beresko and discovered that when you work with the right people, getting a will done is easy. They answered all of my questions quickly and didn't make me feel stupid for asking. Very organized and professional.

Avoid this Law Firm Unprofessional and poor Communication. My sister hired this firm to assist with transferring her late in-laws home into her name. Over a year has passed with little to no progress, and her numerous phone calls were repeatedly ignored. Despite asking multiple times for receipts are proof of work, this firm has discriminated unprofessionalism were ever provided. When she finally decided to fire Beresko (lawyer) due to the lack of communication and results, he withheld $2,800 of the 7,500 she paid- without any clear justification or completed work to show for it. This firm has demonstrated unprofessionalism, poor communication, and lack of transparency. I strongly advise others to look elsewhere for legal services

Mr. Bowie and staff are very helpful, caring, and understanding of the laws. He helped us out a great deal! I would and definitely recommend him if you need a great attorney

Woman who answered the phone was rude and hung up immediately when I requested a consultation for my legal matters. Lacks compassion and patience. Family law bare minimum should require both.

I would highly recommend Alfred (Skip) Beresko and his staff! He went above and beyond, hanging in there for over 2 years to ensure I received a settlement. He was always available either by phone or email for any questions I might have. He made sure I was always in loop about how things were moving along. I can not express enough the competency of Skip and his staff!! 5 stars all day long!!!!!!

1 star shouldn’t be an option. Keep in mind they specialize in bankruptcy cases we had a consultation with Mr. Bowie today and we were left more confused and disheartened by his lack of empathy and professionalism. We weren’t allowed to ask questions about our situation, and one of our only options was to file bankruptcy. Anytime we were asked to answer a question Mr. Bowie made it known we were wasting our breath and we were only allowed to give yes and no answers. His lack of professionalism was made very clear by making up hypothetical lawsuits attaining to a judgement already made by Shreveport City Court. When I asked Mr. Bowie why would I have a lawsuit filed against me pertaining to a case that I had already won. He could not give me a clear definitive answer as why he came to that conclusion.Keep in mind I came in for a consultation pertaining to another case.Then again many questions weren’t allowed, and if they were answers were still not given. He was the only one that spoke throughout our consultation and his conclusions kept coming back to filing for bankruptcy. He was disagreeing with everything our former lawyer had told us who is very high profile and well known lawyer in the Shreveport, Bossier area. Thank God we found another lawyer that gave us peace of mind, and that was able to answer our questions with empathy and decency. Mr Bowie is not the only option for litigation cases please shop around, and God bless. God will get you through this mess.

I DONT KNOW HOW TO SAY THIS WITHOUT BEING RUDE , this guy is not empathetic , is arrogant and ignorant, made my mother in law cherry cry in a customer interview today 9/26/23, basically said she had to file for bankruptcy, yet for another lawyer to call us back and we have a winning case 100% , then said to my wife we could be sued, which is just funny because I have the best lawyer in town santi parks who evicted the suit chaser in cherrys case, and granted us our new home and land , also pricing is outrageous for an outdated “washed” lawyer… 3.9 stars and dropping learn some respect and how to talk to people

Mr. Beresko and his staff went above and beyond to help me with my car accident. All my questions were answered in a timely manner, and they were incredibly sympathetic and understanding of my needs. If you are in need of a trustworthy, hard-working lawyer, Mr. Beresko is the way to go!

I would not file with them at all. The lady at the front desk is rude and inconsiderate. She make unnecessary rude comments. She does not care what she says. I’m taking my case with another lawyer.

If you need family law help, use Mr Beresko. We contacted Mr. Beresko to rework a custody arrangement. He made our family feel like his only client. He was kind and supportive, and actually listened to our concerns. I wish i had used their company 10 years ago. I was also very impressed with the kindness of the legal assistant.

Great attorney and is very knowledgeable. I sat down with Mr. Bowie January 2022. Speaking to him about my situation, he assured to me that he was going to do his BEST to help me. Mr. Bowie keep me updated on information regarding my case and I didn't have to worry. I appreciate all the help he has given me and he is more than a attorney to me. I would like to leave a positive note out here to other parents going thru custody battles or separations/divorces that have children involved. Mr. Beresko and his team have been more than an absolute dream to work with. It has been nothing but a positive experience in our life and our child's life. Divorces, Custodies, etc. can all get out of hand and get dirty, ugly and very negative, very quickly. But with this team, they have always been supportive, encouraging to everyone involved and always helping to find and work thru the best scenario and guess what!!!! All for the benefit of the child involved first and foremost. They have even helped the adults involved to stay and the straight and narrow, keeping tunnel vision on the child.
