Did a really good job at letting me know out of the blue that if I had a sugar daddy that it was between myself and God, which was super strange. Is really good at charging hundreds of dollars for making unnecessary and unanswered calls that took less than 5 minutes. Performed a great service of over billing with no action taken and also an invoice reflecting no actions taken with hundreds of dollars charged. Didn’t apply the retainer paid to the invoice upon receiving it. Is a great example of what not to do if you’re providing legal services, especially when invoicing. Should be investigated for malpractice and double billing.

It is an honor and a pleasure to know Phil Hurtt. He has been our friend and legal advisor for over 20 years, successfully representing myself and members of my family in several cases. He is very knowledgeable and informative, taking time to explain legal issues or even referring us to professionals in other fields when we need help. He's a really nice guy!

Great group to work with. They listen to your concerns and take action. I am very pleased with Mr Hurtt and his staff.

Find a different law firm these guys are crooks. Phil told me he would file paternity for me if I paid $712 up front which was two hours of his time and the filing fee on May 2nd and I had until July 1st to pay the rest of the retainer. Every time I called they kept telling me they were working on it and "it will get filed". Come May 17th I got served by my ex because they never filed. They also refused to send my reply to her paperwork so I just paid for a different lawyer who has help me tremendously already. Just find a different lawyer and save yourself time and money.

Guy talk nice and sound helpful but call the other side when, he did fully talk to me first not cool. Three stars because was sound helpful did not charge and is a law firm and I don't need any new legal problems.

Worst law firm I've ever dealt with. Unresponsive to our most basic requests for information about our case. Wouldn't return phone calls or emails. Incapable of sending our bills to the correct address. Secretary repeatedly misplaced critical information, without so much as an apology. If you're looking for decent legal representation, do not pick Branch & Hurtt. They are simply awful.

Pick another lawfirm there horrible. I should have read the reviews..

Not able to give this even a star but wanted to share my distaste for this organization... well specifically one legal representative from this organization who did minimal representation for my husband. The experience was not helpful and to summarize the service it was outright lazy. I do not recommend this law firm for anyone needing legal representation. The lawyer representing my husband had to be prompted for everything over a one year period with absolutely no progress. I find his service unethical and he should not be practicing law. My husband has sought new legal counsel and will likely fight the malpractice of this group.

So i ask for help for divorce. Need certain amount up front to start and they would accept monthly payments. Cool. Paid said retainer fee. They start working my divorce (no kids involved, little to no assets). No monthly bill ever came. Till i asked. 5 months into the divorce. First bill comes and i now owe over $15,000 and interest rate is 18%. Get off work early on friday. Their office is supposed to be open till 5 according to website. At the office at 4:30 to complain about bill. So here i am doing this review cause they are closed already. Was going to call and complain but they charge alot for a phone call and same to read emails. Majority of the bill is all about phone calls and emails... a courtesy oh btw your new amount due is...... so accept monthly payments... bill says amount due with interest is total balance. Not a monthly bill of $100 or $200 now due or nothing. First statement i should of just dropped them. But being so far into the divorce i am stuck with an outrageous bill amount and still not divorced. My lawyer is doing what he can with opposing counsel being a pain. But i am not satisfied at all with their office tactics to get a client in and then slam them with a bill over $15,000. Update.. So found on a different site they close at 3pm on fridays. Conflicting times. Didnt notice a office hour sign. Could of missed it...

I have to first say that I do (did) not like attorneys! I met with John and knew right away I had found a good attorney! He puts you at ease right away. He has been an attorney for years and is a "good 'ol Oklahoma guy". He has a way of explaining things that will calm you and let you know that things will turn out ok. If you want something to hurry up and get done with as little work, understanding or professionalism as possible, John is NOT your attorney. If you want a professional who is approachable, understanding and someone who knows what they are doing, John is your attorney. John, thank you for being my attorney and helping me through the difficult time!
