I would leave zero stars if it was an option. We paid $7K for a retainer and had literally NO work performed, no updates, and barely any responses. This is really upsetting.

Do not Hire this guy he will take your money and do nothing for you at all. He does do a thing for you he will does not call any of your Witnesses, does not shows any evidence of yours he more or less set you to fail. Paid him thousands of dollars to do nothing. He had 30 days to file for a new trial and never did It was paid with money up front Not like he was owed money. He never did hid job. He owes us Thousands of dollars. He won't answer his phone. He won't return phone calls and we will get our money back one way or another.

This guy is absolutely awful. Do not use him. We gave him money for a case then he did absolutely nothing for us. We resolved the matter ourselves. We have been waiting months to get our money back and they never answer the phone or communicate with us at all. If you want to get robbed by someone then this is the guy for you. If you want someone who is ethical, good at his job, has great communication and cares about his clients then this IS NOT THE GUY for you.

I would give negative stars if I could. Do not hire him! He does not communicate, does not show up prepared, does not respond to motions, or give you copies of your case document. He did not even inform me of a hearing, which lead the judge to eventually find me in contempt for something I knew nothing about. He also won’t give you itemized statements, and will steal your money. He is unethical to say the least! Do yourself a favor and find someone that will actually work for you.

Our mother passed away in November 2020. He was supposed to help with her estate. A judge in Rock Island County actually fired him for incompetence. He was to help with closing the house we sold but is ignoring my sister who is the executor and not releasing the money. Next step is to file a complaint with the state of Illinois.

My mother hired him- he willingly took the case and then Covid hit - that was understood- however when things were able to resume he told us he would still be able to proceed only he did nothing until time ran out- he would not keep us updated nor respond when we called - he did not well us he no longer wanted to represent us in the case so we could go to someone else - he just ignored us and wouldn’t respond- I would definitely not recommend him - he is not very ethical

Attorney Bill Breedlove is a conscientious and compassionate man who greatly helped me through a very difficult time. He won my case. His secretary, Geri, is also great. I highly recommend Breedlove Law.

I was selling/buying a home and I chose Bill as my attorney since he was covered by my insurance. I called a couple other lawyer’s offices prior with no return phone call or offers. I’ve read reviews stating he does not respond or is slow to respond. I will agree that he can be slow to respond but he always pulled through for me and worked late to meet deadlines. I understand that can make anyone nervous when you’re not sure if things will be done on time, I admit it did me. Anyway, after I moved into my new home I’ve had to ask Bill for help a couple of other times for situations, one being very unfortunate. Again, it was a slow response but in the long run it worked out and the issues were resolved. He explained things very well and knows what he is talking about, gave me options and recommended the best route to take. If you’re ok with being patient and giving him reminders (nicely), he will get back to you. Overall, good experience working with him!

Bill Breedlove cares deeply about his clients, and has an unusually sharp legal mind. He relishes the opportunity to fight an uphill battle, and he's relentless; you'll be glad you hired him.

I Spoke to attorney Breedlove one time on October 16th. I emailed him the documents he asked for. And then I never heard from him again. He doesn't return phone calls or emails. I've never worked with an attorney that does not communicate or at least has an assistant that replies. Absolute radio silence from this guy. One of the staff that answers the phone is unpleasant to speak to as well. So, if you want to sit, wait and wonder for weeks/months about if you have a case or not, call this guy. He probably won't call back though.
