Brian Ripley is awesome! I hired a business attorney a few years ago to compose an agreement for my business Web Revamp to hire contractors. That document is over 20 pages long with a separate agreement and NDA. It is hard for me to understand the implications of a lot of the legal ease. I used the document once with much futzing and discomfort, and I found it hard to use again for a different type of contractor. I paid almost $2,000 for that document and it felt like a waste. I explained to Brian what I was going through and the types of contractors we engage. I was happily surprised to read the replacement document he composed. I read it in one sitting, and I understood what it covered well enough to ask clarifying questions. He not only composed a much shorter document, he integrated the NDA and then explained how to customize for different contractors. To top it off, the cost was less than half what I paid the first attorney. I’m very happy with it!
