I was searching online for lawyers in my area who specialize in consumer law. I came across a few other law offices prior to finding Brine Consumer Law. The other law offices I spoke with told me they had never heard of a situation like mine or they gave me some generic advice. They were a complete waste of time. My situation was time sensitive and I needed to find answers fast. I then called Brine Consumer Law and Christopher answered. I explained my situation and in return he asked me the name of collection company I was dealing with..he immediately knew all about them, the name of the owner and the tactics they use, which l relieved to hear. At that point I knew I had finally reached someone who could help me. While on the phone he answered all my questions thoroughly, he never made me rushed or pressured into hiring him to represent me, although I am so glad I did!! It only took a couple of days for him to get the collection company to agree and settle for the amount we offered and my property returned to me with no extra fees or issues. Christopher communicated with the collector and I never had to speak with them. The whole process was unbelievably smooth. I would highly recommend Brine Consumer Law. Christopher has so much knowledge, knows the laws and how to get you the best outcome possible!

When one has to make a decision to file it is not made lightly. When my case was opened I thought I had hired someone that I could trust to guide me through the unknown. After paying my account for years and struggling to do so , my lawyer disappeared. Continuous calls, emails, letters and pleas for this person to contact me and tell me something and still nowhere to be found. Attorney Christopher Brine is very professional and knowledgeable about the wage garnishment in Massachusetts, and he stopped my wages from being garnished on the same week that a wage garnishment was scheduled to take place, I definitely recommend Brine Consumer Law.

Attorney Brine helped us negotiate with a collection agency that was chasing a debt that had been written off by the original issuer over a decade before. We had attempted to handle it ourselves and we got nowhere. For a fair price, Mr. Brine represented us and took the fight to them. He worked aggressively putting them back on their heels. The agency ended up settling for about ¼ of we had originally offered to them prior to Mr. Brine’s involvement. If you are being treated unfairly by a debt collector, Mr. Brine is the person you want at your side.

Christopher Brine is the best; I cannot recommend him highly enough. He took over a bankruptcy matter for a family member after the previous attorney was unsure how to proceed. Christopher took the time to explain the process, the options available, the benefits and risks, and filed a well-researched motion to achieve the result we were seeking. He was incredibly responsive and returned all calls and emails, and answered my many questions. All at a reasonable cost.

He met with me, and learned all about my complicated bankruptcy. He said he would take the case and even sent me a retainer fee agreement to do a pre bankruptcy filing investigation. When I sent an email back clarifying what agenda items would he included for the money he was asking for, he immediately said he did not want the case anymore. So he was either planning on stealing my money and didn’t want to go on record to have actual deliverables, or he’s completely incompetent and never had the skill, ability, or intellect to even do the filing in the first place. He’s a nice enough guy.....but when it was time to actually do work, he showed his true character. I will be contacting the Bar and the BBB.

Excellent bankruptcy attorney

Chris went above above and beyond to help me through my bankruptcy filing . I had no idea what to expect and was doing this on my own .Mine was not a straight forward situation , my bankruptcy happened for many reason however one in particular was due to an injury that occurred at my place of work ,the loss of income and then the downward spiral of my finances .There were many times he needed to consult with my other lawyers and did so quickly and effectively . I felt with Chris as my lawyer I had an honest and intelligent advocate with me every step of the way. He was quick to return my calls and emails.
