Karen Brod and her team are the BEST! I’ve worked since 15 yrs old and had a strong work history. But the last 5 years of working it became more difficult and hard. Started losing jobs because of my disabilities. I attempted the SSDI process myself after 2 denials I searched for a lawyer. As I interviewed with 3-4 lawyers, Karen made me feel better,I could finally breathe. If you’re fighting for disability benefits,you already know it’s stressful,Draining,and a slow uphill battle. I was very disappointed. I spoke with an attorney there a couple of days ago and explained my whole situation. She said to call back as soon as the denial letter comes and she said she would like to try and help me with my appeal. So I call back today and never got to talk to the attorney. Whoever it was that answered the phone today and spoke with me was very unpleasant and if im being honest was just rude. The tone in her voice was like I was bothering her for calling. It takes a lot for me to write a bad review, however I was incredibly disappointed with what happened. I called another law firm right after who gave me great advice and IS going to help me. So with that being said- anyone looking for a lawyer to help with an SSI appeal- if you get whoever I talked to today and they tell you they can’t help you- I would definitely get a second opinion.

I reached out to the firm when I had questions. Unfortunately, I can't pursue a disability claim at this time, but everyone I spoke to today was so incredibly compassionate and kind, especially when delivering hard news. Thank you for taking the time to listen and for your validation - I will recommend your team to my community.

It's absolutely sad that I've been trying to get help from this office for two years.. I've provided my medical records explained that I needed help. An after all this and being denied a second time with no representation. This office still is to scared to take my case. I was asked to do a lawyers job as told by her rude secretary. Cherry picking your cases does not equal the best . I suggest going somewhere else
