Brown and Barnwell as collected a pay out from my insurance since 2021 and as not pay my medical bills to the service providers which cause a lien to be filed in my local country court on me. I have not received any payment from the pay out either. I have given them ample time to act with integrity and all I get is the run a aroung. It's now Jan 2026. I am going sue them. Stay clear of these people they are crooked.

He doesn’t even deserve one star. This experience with Chauncey has been more traumatic than the actual accident. His communication is very port, he doesn’t send all or the correct documents, you have to stalk this man for your money! He also makes false promises, and charges outstanding fees. He is very unprofessional and spiteful once you voice your concerns he stops responding and even drop your case. Worst experience ever! Please don’t hire this man as an attorney.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I referred 2 people and was NOT compensated ANY discount though the lawyer Chauncey said he would with the death of my godson. They have been giving me the runaround. Sarah was only doing as Chauncey said so I can’t really be mad at her. For the past 2 months, Chauncey has been sending my settlement EVERY WEEK meanwhile I’ve never received it. Then after 8 Fridays of sending it Tues comes and he tells me I need to negotiate my medical bills with the chiropractor! So I’m wondering what do you get paid for? I reported him to the Bar association because he does horrible business. He’s a liar and I will NEVER REFER HIM AGAIN! Sarah said last Thursday my money should be here Monday. I texted Chauncey because once again NO CHECK he said I’ll send it out today and provide the tracking number. But I have messages from September with him saying the same thing!! The worst EVER

Whew. If i could give him 0 stars I would! Chauncey Barnwell is the Absolute Worst Lawyer I’ve ever encountered. Been dealing with nonsense since 2020. No communication, no help, doesn’t protect clients, don’t fight for clients, nothing. Doesn’t remember any facts in case. Had the audacity to tell me how severe my injuries were that resulted from a car accident that I had no fault in instead of listening to me as the client. You’re just a check to him. Do not listen at all to prior reviews if you are in need of a personal injury lawyer. Get some else to do it. I am in the processing of filing a bar complaint and BBB complaint. Definitely needs a new profession and to be barred from practicing law.
