They made it so easy and stress-free for us during a hard time when we really needed that support. Also, Nancy was always at the front desk to welcome us and answer questions. Honestly, I can't say enough great things about going to Pelkey and Pelkey. We were so happy with Bryan and Lisa and Nancy we went back to them to have our wills drawn up. Again, exceptional service. From sending important documents to an old address to misspelling my mother's name on said documents to making a delayed addendum to the supposed final accounting, Pelky & Pelky made probate of my mother's estate uncomfortable at best. Aren't lawyers all about getting the details right? The main problem is that now that everything is supposedly finally settled, what confidence do I have that it was settled properly? None. Avoid this firm.
I am sorry to read your disappointment with my office. Mistakes do happen and we strive to correct them as soon as we learn of them. Parenthetically, I can’t help but note that you have posted multiple complaints with various entities expressing your displeasure.<br><br>Neither the name nor the fact pattern sound familiar to me based upon the shared information. It is not unusual for beneficiaries to move and, frankly, forget to advise us of their new address. Clearly, communication is a two-way street. Further, it is not unusual for an Estate to discover additional assets that were not previously known or that the Executor did not want to delay disbursement of the bulk of the Estate while a few minor additions were pending. Most clients are pleased to receive additional funds.<br><br>We take our responsibility very seriously and to hear that a beneficiary was made “uncomfortable” bothers me greatly. Our goal is to make the process as transparent as possible so that both clients and beneficiaries are informed throughout the process.
Bryan and his staff really put me at ease in setting up my will. Bryan throughly explained the entire process and what was best for me They are very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend
