I am extremely disappointed with my experience acting as POA while working with Dustin Fowler and his firm. Throughout the process, I observed what I believe to be a significant lack of professionalism and accountability. After the firm was retained and paid a substantial fee, the level of effort and thoroughness did not align with what had been represented. Certain filings appeared incomplete, and communication was frequently difficult, unproductive, or at times unavailable altogether. There is also an unresolved issue involving funds that, in my view, were not earned but have been retained by the firm and placed into a court interpleader. Efforts to resolve this matter have been ongoing and frustrating. Additionally, documents requiring service have repeatedly been sent to an incorrect address, resulting in continued delays involving more than $80,000. My interactions with his partner, Stephen E., were similarly challenging. I found both attorneys to be uncooperative and unwilling to provide clear answers or meaningful assistance. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this firm and would advise others to carefully consider their options when seeking legal representation.

There is also an ongoing issue involving funds that were not earned being retained by the firm and then unnecessarily being entered into a court interpleader. Attempts to resolve this matter have been frustrating and unsuccessful. Documents that must be served are being intentionally sent to the wrong address to hold up over $80,000. In addition, interactions with his partner, Stephen E., were similarly challenging. I experienced both attorneys as uncooperative and unwilling. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this firm. I encourage others to seek legal counsel elsewhere.

I understand most people in Dothan do not like dealing with Dothan attorneys. I was having major problems in my current residential environment- to include harassment from a few local law enforcement. It went as far as them trying to call my place of internship & “get rid of me.” They even had another local attorney try to come & intimidate me & my household at a town meeting for using my constitutional right to address issues me & others in the community have had with this police department. Fowler is a “no nonsense,” attorney. His character as a man has stood out from the other men in that mess. He doesn’t care to “rub elbows,” or “tickle fancy,” to be part of a “inner society:” When you have false charges or someone coming at you & promoting flying monkeys (look up psychology facts on this) you will want someone like him. He might rub people wrong, but it’s because he’s not going to kiss butt to get what his or his clients needs. He’s going to keep it fact & evidence based. Call Fowler for you & your families protection when others have used the legal system to try to cause you physical, mental, financial, & career harm.

Dustin Fowler has been great in helping me with an on going appeal case with a family in Dothan who have falsely accused me of harassing/ stalking them. He has been up front and honest which is a great quality for a lawyer. I also contacted him about a separate situation concerning The Cottages and he had a lawyer from Birmingham ( Mr. Whitney Seals ) contact me and helped me resolve the issue pro bono. Which was very helpful of Mr. Seals considering I had gone to many different lawyers in Dothan who would not help me once I mentioned the word eviction and The Cottages. They all just assumed I was guilty and wrote me off. Dustin Fowler is a man that know the law and understands that small town BS needs to stop.

Dustin Fowler is a man who likes to blow smoke and string his clients along. After months of requesting a detailed billing account for services rendered, I have yet to receive it. His excuses are ridiculous and he plays on innocent inmates inability to handle things on their own. His lack of communication is infuriating. I am Power of Attorney for an inmate in AL and we finally had to sever ties with Dustin for his failure to complete simple tasks. He now refuses to send the case file, which is a client's right to obtain. The lengths that we are having to go through are absurd. Do yourself a favor and do not use this firm!

Fowler is rude and doesn’t care about his clients well being.

Fowler is one of the rudest people I've ever talked to about taking a case. I wasted my time even talking to this man.

I talk to Attorney Mr. Etheredge about taking case for me Last year he agreed he would get started on it nothing was done for months so feb 2020 I called and of corse couldn’t talk to him and one excuse after another need some numbers I finished them still heard nothing until I called to say WHATS GOING ON ? If he wants case or don’t and or corse she had excuses for it to SO IM DONE WITH THIS LAW FIRM IF I WAS U I STUDY WHO U LET HAVE MY CASE
