As I searched for the right firm to represent me and my family I called several ones. No one gave me that security. I then came across Burdine & Brown Attorneys at Law and as we discussed my concerns and need Attorney Tom Brown stated “we will come to you Mrs.McLaughlin. They traveled and sat for almost 2 hours to assure they heard me and I understood the process. As him and his team left they “stated we are here to serve you and your family and will do all we can to get what you, your kids are entitled to! They did just that and more. I had contacted their office to help me with applying for disability. Dina made things very clear, simple and easy to work through. She even dropped by my house to help me sign paperwork when I was to weak to get out of my house. There was always good communication, and I always felt I could ask questions. When we hadn't heard anything from SSA for a very long time, she even helped me contact the state congress to see what could be done. We started getting answers soon after that. I was so relieved during the whole process that I did not have to worry about trying to slog my way through this myself at a time I was least equipped to handle anything. My case is now settled. I would very much reccomend working with them.

Worse lawyer I ever had involved in a workers compensation accident. Mr. Brown and his associate David had me believing I had a back injury in fact I had a brain injury. I almost died because of these lying attorneys who I felt like in the end were working for the employer not me. I suggest staying as far away from this firm. You might end like me fighting for your life in icu for six weeks having to end up with brain surgery lung surgery along with many other surgery that I received not one dime for losing every thing you ever owned due to their poor way of handling the case. Tom Brown and David both of you should be ashamed of yourself for what you put me thru two years in a wheel chair numerous of surgery and so many doctors even ten years later that I get my appointments mixed up.Still in pain ten years later will never be able to have the family doctor as my only doctors probably thought I was no longer living with what was wrong with me hope what ever the employer paid it was worth it I was naive and trusting person till I met you two not anymore can’t trust anyone anymore thanks for that two

Attorneys traditionally have never been my favorite category of people; for the most part I have found the majority of them to be arrogant, and very overconfident in their abilities. Mr. Brown, or "Tom," as I came to affectionately refer to him early on in our association changed my perception very early on. His integrity is without question, and his loyalty and dedication to his clients is awesome. His leadership skills are reflected in his staff who totally mirror and reflect the standards he sets for himself in serving the interest of his clients.
