Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on one's perspective, I've had the experience of interacting with various attorneys. Layf Carlson is one of the best. He was thorough, he followed up, he kept me posted throughout the process and did not settle for what may have appeared to others as inevitable. No judgement, he is an advocate for his client while having the knowledge and experience needed to execute!! I recommend him highly.

After what seemed like a great consultation, we exchanged a few emails with Kimberley and then unfortunately never heard back. I’ve been never been ghosted by a law firm but I guess there’s a first for everything? It’s a shame because we were demoralized with our situation but our conversation with Kimberley gave us some hope. Huge letdown to be honest. Unfortunately, we couldn’t recommend. Not sure if this is normal from this firm. We would have preferred a rejection if they didn’t want to take us on, but to just not respond and leave us hanging for weeks left a bad taste in our mouth.

Layf pointed out all possible outcomes, and went to work getting the charges dismissed, which was the ultimate outcome of the this event. He proved himself to be very knowledgeable of the law, and a very capable Lawyer, Whom I would use again and heartily recommend.

Working with Burnett Legal Group was the absolute worst "professional" service I've ever worked with. It took Burnett nearly a year to finish a relatively simple task. We had to continuously check back in to ask them to do the things they said they would, which dragged this process out. I wish I counted the number of hours wasted repeating myself. Their awful service was topped off with billing issues. Steer clear of this incompetent, apathetic firm.

Let me start by saying this legal stuff was never suppose to be my thing but due to unforeseen circumstances it fell to me. Mom set up her trust with Anne Burnett and she was great with her. After her death she and Zach Kneale were so helpful and very kind walking me through this process. I would highly recommend them. Especially if you have no clue what you're doing.

We asked DeAna to assist us with updating our wills and implement an estate plan and trust. During this process, DeAna took the time to explain and re-explain the different legal options that best suited us for our first trust.
