Hired them to help with a breach of contract. To not get screwed up.... Got screwed up by Burham Law $2500.. $1000 to right a letter to the other attorneys not serious enough to get a response from them . I will have done a better job my self at small claims. Shame on you guys for not having what it takes to defend a client

My attorney, Mikayla Shearer, and associates with the firm, were very responsive, respectful, well informed, knowledgeable and ethical!!! It is very rare today to have a good group of attorneys who are not interested in harming others to make profit.

The judge stated they would give me one last chance to prove my case or they would close it. This was after I provided all the paperwork that the lawyer I was working with told me to give to the judge . I had to put together my own photos and evidence so my case would not be closed. The attorney Iwas working with did not seem interested in my case and I had to use chat GPT to find out the next steps to take, which had actually been more helpful than the attorney I was working with. I requested to be assigned a new attorney and I've had several emails that were not replied to. I have a $3,000 Evergreen retainer that is being drained trying to reach someone who can help me with my case. It is likely I will be looking for another firm to help me unless someone at Burnham law can actually help me with my case. ***Update I contacted client services last week and still haven't heard back. Consider using another firm with better communication.

My husband hired Burnham law after several positive reviews from friends. At first the experience was great. Kayleigh was fantastic. However the day before his status conference she informed us that there was a conflict of interest and she could get be blocked from the case and a new attorney take over or the firm would withdraw and we would get our unused retainer back, as well as a portion of our used retainer to allow us to retain new counsel. Given the timing we said we would try a new attorney. That attorney was very ill prepared at the hearing, stumbled over her words and ultimately had no real argument or defense to assist my husband. He then informed the new attorney that he was going to take the offer of the refund instead and look for representation else where. It took over 4 weeks for us to get our unused retainer refunded. When he asked about a portion of the used he has been getting the run around stating that they don’t know what he is referring to. He has sent screen shots of the email from his original attorney showing what she offered and to date he is not getting any response on the additional refund. We are unable to speak with the first attorney due to her being blocked from the case. At this time I would not recommend this firm, they do not do their due diligence to ensure no conflict of interest until it’s too late, and then refuse to communicate and follow through with what their own attorneys have stated in writing.

Sam was a pleasure to work with as an attorney; he was quick to respond via email and phone. If I needed something, I did not have to wait.

Blames me fore school not following custody case

Wants $200 for a 30 min consultation. ----- This is after their response: I wish I could reply instead of editing: Still wants to charge for intake/consultation. I highly recommend checking out your local BAR website for a free consultation. Just Google your city/county and 'bar association '. They usually have a way of finding someone who will give you 20-hr of their time for free legal advice. If you like them then you can retain them. Most law firms want to spend 30min with a client to determine if it's worth their time, the client is credible etc..this firm wants money for that..I moved on I recommend you do the same.

I had a very prompt response time from the office to schedule my consultation call. They were very informative, from the man who to my initial information (Didn't catch name), to Leslie Shafer who was my legal consultant. Leslie was kind and very up front about any fees or payment as well as answered all of my questions and explained the process thoroughly.

They go above and beyond! They are amazing!

Worst law firm ever. Jared West is not a lawyer. He is a swindler. He will lead you to mistakes. I don’t believe if he really went to a law school. I have contacted to BBB as well.

I am just starting a new case with Burnham Law. The start of it has not gone well with them. But then, I luckily got forwarded to Donna Bystricky, the Firm Manager, who went above and beyond to make sure the issues were fixed. Sometimes you get paired with a lawyer that you just don't jive with, don't be afraid to speak up, talk to Donna, and see what magic she can work. We've got a long way to go, but I like my chances better now.

I was very impressed by Burnham Law, and so thankful I retained them. I was up against a claim made against me that held no merit and was quickly dismissed from the case thanks to Laurel and team. What I appreciated most about them was that they were quick to respond, easy to speak with, and explained things well. I've never been sued before, nor had to spend time engaging with lawyers, so having a lawyer that took the time to explain what was going on and didn't treat me as less than, was wonderful. And, I never felt like they were trying to get the most money out of me as a client, in fact I felt the opposite. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for lawyers who are honest.
