Attorneys Neil Burns and Roshan Jain promulgate themselves as one of the premier experts in legal malpractice- that is, engaging in litigation with your former attorney who has misled and misrepresented you, and you now potentially have damages and a claim against that attorney resulting from their negligence or deliberate malfeasance. Burns and Jain represent that they are expert in the more recent statutes of MGL Ch93A, which provides extended litigation and recovery rights, in some cases triple damages, to consumers and citizens who've been harmed by deceptive business practices of a wide array of MA businesses, including attorneys' practices. That is extremely encouraging. Potentially you now have a place to turn for help, in very intimidating and dark waters, when your own lawyer has not practiced in good faith, has deceived you, where they've been entirely negligent or lousy and it's harmed you, but nevertheless they are a lawyer and you're not, and magically their negligence turns to prodigious and suddenly effective diligence to fight you, their former client off. And other grievance avenues you've employed, with evidence, have gone nowhere. They’ve been prejudiced in favor of your nefarious former attorney. What do you do? Where do you turn? So Burns' and Jain's value proposition is very encouraging indeed. It is very hopeful. Where then is the problem? In practice, "in vivo", that is a biology term meaning “in life”, “in the body”, Burns and Jain evade you, elude you, forestall you, take in your attorney file which you’ve put yourself at risk to provide. They don’t respond, don’t comment, don’t call back, they leave you in the lurch wondering whether a paralegal asking for your former attorney file will then prepare it for Attorneys Burns or Jain to review. Did they review it? Is your claim not meritorious? They’ll gladly set up for you the humiliating experience, because you’ve gotten no answer yet provided your attorney file, of speaking yet again with their rather gate-keeping, admin Jonathan and trying to now audition for him, to perform your story improvisation-ally, in hopes that you have a shot to “pique the producer’s interest”, that is, to get some sort of informed eyes on your grievance story. You will not. But neither will you get a no. You’ll not only never speak with either attorneys Burns and Jain, even for a couple of minutes, you will never speak again with the paralegal who took in your former attorney’s file to presumably get an evidence-based starting basis for your grievance story. They have you perform in good faith in this byzantine ritual of trying to get a new attorney and their interest and ear, and Burns and Jain will blow you off without answer. Every other prospective new attorney out of dozens will tell you within hours or a day max if they can look further at your case against your former attorney. You may not like the answer, and God knows, you detest not being entitled to a reason for the rejection, and not getting one, and to thus be able to derive something fruitful in the act. But you know what? You move on and cross them off the list. They’ve extended you at least that useful courtesy. Not Burns and Jain. You know what a stark irony is here? These so-called MGL ch93A and legal malpractice experts, Attorneys Burns and Jain flirt with client-deception, and client-misleading conduct which are, themselves , violations of Mass SJC RPC (Rules of Professional Conduct for attorneys ) and possibly MGL ch93A. Are Burns and Jain impressive now? Are they trustworthy? Is that important in an attorney, especially one who touts to go after an unethical former attorney?

They drafted a detailed and persuasive response that effectively addressed the opposing counsel's demands.
