My friend was represented by Rachel recently. It was super short notice as we had trouble finding an attorney to take the case so communication in the beginning was not great and we were clueless. I was a little concerned but when Rachel Bussett walked into the hearing she came in like a BOSS. I was immediately put at ease as she started talking and I knew she knew her stuff. It became apparent very early on that she is incredibly intelligent. If you need someone to litigate, she is your gal. I was very impressed and appreciate that she will take cases that many won't! She was honest, upfront, and did an excellent job. She is who I would want fighting in my corner! It was also a pleasure getting to know her! I would also say she is very upfront with costs.

My wife and I are very blessed. Rachel took our family law case last minute with only a few weeks to prepare. She’s is very knowledgeable and hard-working. We are very grateful for having her in our corner to get the best outcome we can. Thank you so very much.

2 months and not one word from them after taking my case. Don’t waste your time here. This was sent from them and nothing done for me at all other than wasted. Regarding your response I communicated with your office as I was instructed and your attorney would use text or text voice messages and every employee I dealt with other than the attorney had left this practice during the two months I wasted dealing with this firm. Not professional just to stop responding when there is a statute of limitations that you are dealing with. Not professional.

Somehow my review was removed. I left my review 5 years ago, this is the original text: We hired Bussett Legal to provide us counsel and facilitate the sale of our business. After our initial meeting I paid the retainer ($2500) and subsequently was ignored. I was unable to reach anyone at the firm whenever I had questions (I called 5 times and left messages each time, not once did anyone call me back) and had multiple emails go unanswered that they charged $250 each time one was answered. We essentially had ZERO council after paying the retainer and they weren't there during the closing. There was no reason to even hire them, since the buyer's attorney (he even had trouble getting ahold of anyone at the firm) provided the purchase agreement. I strongly recommend hiring someone else, unless you don't mind being ignored and paying $1000 for 2 answered emails and no counsel.

Bussett Legal Group has represented my family for a few years and has tackled every obstacle head on. From the very beginning Rachel and her team cited many similar case laws and so far they have been 100% accurate on how everything would play out in the courts. Rachel is very knowledgeable in family, criminal, civil rights and civil law. Her best work is when she is in the courtroom arguing her position. She articulates her position with such precision. It’s hard not to sit back and smile knowing she is prepared for every possible angle thrown at her. Rachel constantly checks-in on my family and makes sure everyone is okay. She does this because she actually cares. She treats us like we are her only client when we know that isn’t the case. Rachel and her team are quick to respond with any questions or concerns and that helps relieve the stress we have been or currently under. If it wasn’t for BLG I don’t know if my family would be sitting in the position we are in now. They have made my family extremely happy and we are forever grateful for all the work they have done so far.

I was given this office’s number by another office to get an answer to a question. The lady that answered the phone was very rude and interrupted me stating that I’d have to pay for a consult at $75 for 30 minutes after telling me that Rachel usually waives the consult fee. She told me Rachel’s time is valuable and I’d have to pay since I have no interest in suing anyone. She didn’t even let me complete my question before interrupting me telling me I’d have to schedule a consult. She kept cutting me off and not letting me talk. I pronounced Rachel’s last name wrong and she very rudely corrected me. She was extremely unprofessional. I will search elsewhere for help

After spending the last month being passed around by various law offices and filling out intake forms just to be told "Sorry, we cannot help", I finally found someone who took a few minutes out of their day to point me in the right direction. My 5 minute phone call with Rachel was EXTREMELY insightful to what I am up against and although she couldn't take my case, she helped me more than anyone else. I will be recommending her to anyone and everyone I know. Thank you!!!!!

Find a different lawyer, do not use them. They are not that great. Edit > if you take your reviews seriously then you would start doing the work required to give better service rather than making your client do the work when they sign a power of attorney.

They never answer the phone nor do they call you back

Very knowledgeable, personable and feel like family and in good hands. She goes above and beyond for her clients.
