Byler Iaquinto is truly the best of the best. From the moment you interact with them, they make you feel like part of the family while maintaining professionalism and respectful boundaries. Acquired a reckless ticket as a first offender, before my court date i completed a driving class and got my faulty speed sensors replaced. Even with all this my attorney Mr.Koch told me he would plead not guilty then did not defend my case and pleaded no contest, not once was I asked to explain what happened the night I got the ticket and had to repeatedly call the law firm to acquire information regarding my case, I do not recommend this firm for anything that’s not a lawsuit. Edit - purged some online footprint and found this again, yes I agreed but this was due to a lack of understanding what my attorney was telling me in the 10 seconds we stepped outside of the court, but that’s not really why I left a 1 star, it was having to call SO MANY TIMES to get any information about the case or what to do to prepare for the case. So no I did not leave a 1 star because I was found guilty I left it because this business is really really bad at communicating 👍

Mr. Byler is a great man and a wonderful lawyer. He’s taking excellent care of my son’s lawsuit while making his health wellness and recovery a priority. People are very nice there I can give them that. But their business practices are horrible!!!! The communications is slim to none. Try to get a TRO submitted since August!!! Everytime I call it's an excuse why it wasn't done. I even had to do my own leg work to find out information to submit for the TRO. Hoping that would move it along. I still have yet to recevie a update, message, letter, email, nothing absolutely nothing. This has been mentally draining and scaring. I know where I stand with them and now since it is December. I am starting to think they will just hope I will stop calling for a update.

Obviously the Good Reviews for this Law Firm are for their work and results on the Civil Court side of things; Not the Criminal Side. Their criminal defense D. Smith attorney is not experienced or "known" in the Virginia Beach legal circles, therefore he will sacrifice, or sell you out to get his feet wet in those waters. You pay him thousands of dollars and he acts like the client has to do all the work. Very Unethical practices.
