i feel bad for lawyers paying for this sevice they bnever answer the phone.. they do not reply to emails. so why thwey take a fee and donot give info so the lawyers can get business. worst atty referal in the state. hope some lawyers read this

Lazy bureaucrats who don't want to work. All calls to this office go straight to voicemail. I needed an attorney for an urgent legal matter and found an email for the director. I emailed her and asked her why no one answers the phone and that I needed an urgent referral. She gave me a snooty response, that the whole referral department was closed because of one person being out of the office and that they would get back to me when they were good and ready. They have no interest in helping the public. Only in their own self importance.

Left a Message and my call was returned with in 2 hours.

Never answers the phone

I reached out to them regarding my civil suit against my previous Dentist. They referred me to Starr and Jacovota. They weren't able to help me. I called them back and informed them of same. The lady I spoke with said that, they should have been able to help me. She then, said she would reach out to me with another Attorney. I have not heard back. I called the bar association on May 10, 2023. No answer. I called back again and left a message for the Executive director. I have not heard back yet. I don't have a Court date yet but, I do know that, the person im suing has an Attorney. I need one also. Please help!

The Lawyers they recommend are knowledgeable but the representative who gives out the information is the reason for 2 stars. It shouldn't take days to give out attorney information especially if a potential client needs advice immediately.

I called to get a referral from the Camden County Bar Association. The phone was answered by a woman. She was exceptionally dismissive from the onset of our call and when I asked for an attorney with some specific specifications, she decided it was appropriate to refer me to SJLS since it’s for “poor and low-income” people. I then said that was not at all the case and I was seeking an Estate attorney on the behalf of a friend. She then began to take my information and I asked why it was necessary to take my personal information down. She stated it was for the referral. I asked if I would become a lead and the attorney would be reaching out to me. She said no and it was for the referral. I asked if they would be receiving a referral fee or “kick-back” from this service. She became exceptionally nasty with me and I shared with her I did not appreciate her tone and would remember this the next time I think about referring anyone to this bar. As someone who has done intakes, made referrals, and been a Paralegal talking with many people from many walks of life, I can only say that she was beyond rude and I would hesitate to ever affiliate myself with this organization in the future. I’m grossly disappointed in this experience but not for me. This is what clients and people in need of assistance are subject to and that is appalling.
