When I filed my own claim, I was awarded a 10% disability rating by the VA. I was extremely frustrated and almost gave up. Then I heard about Cameron Firm, PC. I contacted that firm and found that they truly care about us veterans. My assigned rep walked me through the process and within 4 months my rating was increased to 40% by the VA. They didn’t give up…I was scheduled for 3 follow up examinations and within 5 additional months the VA increased my rating to 60%. I am a Vietnam era Marine Corp Veteran. I have Parkinson's that was caused while stationed at an old WWII supply depot. This depot had everything you could imagine stored inside and outside, all decaying. As a result I was exposed to a range of toxins that cause my PD. I applied for Disability in 2022 and was turned down several times. That's when I contacted the Cameron Firm, PC. They reviewed and accepted my case and started to work right away. My personal experience with Cameron Firm has to be 5 out of 5. After continued years of denials and trying to do my claims with the VA myself, I decided to reach out to several VA attorneys. Many of which did not even respond or bother to help me. Cameron Firm responded and was there for me when I felt no one else would help me. I knew I had a case and it was frustrating how the VA kept denying me even after my many attempts and with several evidence I had. Within just a few months, I saw an immediate increase in my rating. My main issue was denied but they didn’t stop fighting for me. I waited 2 and a half years to hear back from the VA for a decision and Cameron Firm was still there by my side through it all, assuring me they had my back. Even during that time, they contacted me to make sure they were still there and didn’t forget about me. That much time waiting to hear back from the VA can really get to you mentally. There were many times I had doubts, but Cameron Firm’s reassurance helped me get through my hard times. One of their team members reached out to me and told me to let them take care of it and that I have nothing to worry about. After the long wait, it was a VICTORY!
