Dianna has worked so hard for me over the years. She really listens when there's an issue and works hard on your behalf.

I cannot say enough good things about Cannon and their entire team. From the very first interaction, they treated my Social Security Disability case with a level of professionalism, clarity, and genuine care that immediately set them apart. Navigating the SSDI process—especially an appeal—can feel overwhelming and isolating. Cannon never let it feel that way. They were thorough, responsive, and incredibly well-prepared at every step. I always knew what was happening, what to expect next, and why each step mattered. More importantly, they treated me like a person, not a case number. That kind of courtesy and compassion matters more than most people realize when you’re dealing with something as personal as disability. My appeal was ultimately approved back to my original onset date, and the process from start to finish was handled with precision and integrity. Their knowledge of Social Security Disability law is exceptional, but what truly sets them apart is how they combine expertise with humanity. If you’re looking for an SSDI law firm that is competent, honest, communicative, and deeply respectful of the people they represent, Cannon is it. I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone facing a Social Security Disability claim or appeal. Simply outstanding.

Canon disability law, very professional and helpful and quick to respond to my phone calls and messages. They made the process very easy for me to accomplish. They were in constant communication, calling me and walking me through the whole process, making the process and all of the filing simple. So thank you for all of your hard work, in making my life easier.

The receptionist and me are tight she listens to all my problems and can empathize. She's always kind even when busy. And it was so nice to finally put a face to the person on the other line. She helped make sure my paperwork was complete and got it turned in before the due date the next day

Response from owner

Thanks for the kind review.

We won!!! I’m so grateful for Dianna and team at Cannon Disability Law’s help with my Social Security case. They were patient, understanding, and always made me feel supported during a stressful time. I felt like they truly cared about me, not just my case, and that made all the difference. I couldn’t have gone through this process without their guidance and kindness.

Response from owner

Thank you for choosing us. We loved working with you.

Dianna and her entire staff did amazing, as long as I did my part they could do theirs! I had 6-8 firms deny doing my case purely due to my age knowing it would need hardcore evidence and actual work , as soon as I contacted her she immediately called me on a Sunday and went over what was wrong with me and why I believe I am disabled, she then took my case not based off my age but my daily suffering, as soon as that hearing was over I knew we had won due to Dianna helping me through this process ! If she wouldn't of helped me I would of had NO idea what to expect , id recommend her and her team any day, now know , if you don't have evidence, records , doctors to back up your situation and you don't put your own hard work into gathering everything you can and doing your part then don't waste their time, As team work makes the dream work! I'm not happy I have to be on disability at all , I miss working so much , but at least this gives me some sort of mental relaxation when it comes to finances due to her team and her working with me to secure that. Thank you -Scott S.

I now know of two cases this firm has stopped working with because they were too complicated. They don’t go the extra mile and often drop the ball. Pick someone else

In all honesty, I’m just starting this process again (I was trying to apply a few years ago, but ended up having a bad experience with those lawyers from a different company). Comparing my previous experience to this company so far, is like night and day! Cannon Disability Law has kept every phone appointment! They were running behind in their schedule, and they sent texts within 2 minutes of them being late to call me! I Really appreciate them doing this, instead of them just not calling, then calling me an hour later (previous experience with the other company). Like I said, I’m just getting started in this process, but so far, so Good! 😊 They’ve also been very patient (with me, and my learning disabilities) and supportive!

I have my hearing in two days but so far they have been great! While you are going through the process( I have been waiting 2 years to meet with the Judge) keep in mind that your Attorney has no way to speed up the waiting besides making sure your paperwork stuff has been done correctly and sent in on time. It does no good to keep calling your lawyer and asking why it is Taking so long they are waiting as well. If you have not heard anything for sometime it is ok to check in but they get frustrated as well. The thing that you can do to help is make sure you are going to your Dr appointments and keeping them updated on any changes or new things. They need all the medical information. I have meet with my Attorney to get ready and she is calling to do a review with me the day before so listen to what they tell and answer there questions BUT let them do their job for you. They have been great and I will be letting her do her Job. They have earned my confidence in them. ** UPDATE** I had my hearing (Andria Summers was my Attorney WOW THIS YOUNG LADY IS AWESOME. When we meet she had done her research and she was on top of it. She understands the Judged and what info they want from her she is very respectful of them but they know she has what info they want and she is right down to business. We won our case and she made me feel like I was a deserving person you always fill bad about getting the benefits and she said look at these disabilities you are facing and how you still were trying to work for years after and you are still having more problem stack up on you this is why we have this service. She has personally called me a couple times after to make sure Icam getting MY benefits and offered to help with knowing what to do with Medicare my wife has those skills so we did not but Andria called and offered her time for free after the fact. If I ever need help again with this stuff she told me to call her! Andria Summer’s is the best.

Thank you.

I would not recommend them! My case was a difficult one, vision which is the hardest to get approved! They made me feel like they were only paper pushers! They waited to the last day before all paperwork was to be sent in to the judge to request a pay stub they needed! With all this online stuff, it took me a few days to get it to them! When I had to see the social security Dr no one advised me to really stress my case to the Dr and the Dr wasn’t even concerned about my vision only about my physical ability! The assistant did call me in advance to make sure I went to the appointment but that was all! No guidance from them at all! So I felt like these lawyers did not have my back! My lawyer did call me a week in advance and we did go over everything! The day of the call with the judge, I do not feel my lawyer stressed enough to them that I have difficulty seeing with both eyes!! Maybe it was because they weren’t going to make much money from my case and thought of me as an afterthought!

I tried for weeks to get in contact with someone from cannon disability, finally got in contact with them and after explaining my situation where I have a clear diagnosis and my doctors help and approval on my disability case they said they wouldn’t be able to work on my case and wouldn’t give me a reason as to why. Then the call “failed” and haven’t heard back from them after I asked if there’s anything I can do to make my case more appealing because I’m drowning. They wouldn’t give me any explanation or help. IM EDITING THIS AFTER THEIR RESPONSE> I did try for weeks to get in contact. I finally found someone’s email rather than calling every day. there was NO free advice I’m literally so stuck in this situation. They wouldn’t even tell me why they wouldn’t take my case and I had a referral from someone they work with and was told my case was solid. But then I get on the phone with her legal secretary or whatever her title was and was so excited to chat. Then was told we can’t take your case and I literally begged “I’ll go to a different lawyer but please tell me what I said that made you not able to take my case or ANY information you can give me on what’s wrong with my case” and that’s where I got zero help. Trying to get on disability is already a joke let alone when people just want easy cases and wouldn’t give any answers on why not. I just needed to make sure I didn’t make a mistake again.

Response from owner

Your review is inaccurate. We have no indication that you tried to contact our office for "weeks." We keep track of all of our calls and we have no record of you calling our office. Also, when you did call, we did help you. We gave you information, options, and even free advice. But because we elected not to take your case you are leaving a one star review. I'm sorry you feel you had to take out your frustrations on us after we did what we could for you.

Outstanding law firm! The entire staff that I had contact with was always knowledgeable and polite. My attorney, Brett prepared me well for my hearing and did an amazing job. His staff made sure all my records needed were there for the Judge. I would highly recommend this firm for social security disability cases.

Response from owner

Thank you for your honest review. We all appreciate it.

The office staff was efficient and sharp. But, the attorney assigned to me never asked me a single question about my situation and made me look like a jackass in front of the judge. I don't know who he thought I was; but, the lawyer treated me like some homeless person who wouldn't get off his property. It was embarrassing to say the least. Case lost and my health deterioriates as I continue to struggle. This was a complete waste of several years.
