I'm currently here with my mother in Chicago trying to get her the help that she needs, we are 3 hours from home, she had a traumatic brain injury. I'm trying to get payment from my mother's bank to pay for neurological treatment at an institute that is able to work with my mother. For some reason the bank is not issuing the payment to the neurological institute, and I am not able to get in touch with the attorney I currently have. I called Caren because I'm looking into hiring another attorney and tried to explain my situation with previous attorneys and how it's been ongoing. I provided to Caren the information she requested which was the previous attorney her phone number the name of the law firm my name my mother's name and the case number... That was on Wednesday. I have been calling and trying to get a hold of her and realized she has me blocked??? You can just say you're not able to work with me and just move on. I don't bug attorneys at all I'm too busy fighting for my mom especially right now. At this very stressful time for me and definitely my mom, a simple text really would have been great

She is likely a very good divorce attorney. However, when it comes to consultations for medical malpractice and the recent loss of a loved one, she is nonchalant, heartless and cruel to the family she speaks with to during the consultation. During our conversation, she actually laughed about how a woman gave her a negative reivew because she "told her the truth". Caren Carter English, should be avoided at all costs for medical malpractice cases unless, the victim had the earning power in the upper six figures and was under the age of 50. If you or your loved one doesn't fit that profile, DO NOT CONTACT this woman. She will be brutal in her approach and cause you more pain!

She started off to be a great attorney. The only thing I didn’t like is that I had to collect and keep up with all my records and medical bills. The final let down was that the company who paid my short term disability check was sending me to their IME doctor. I desperately tried to contact Caren as to what I should do by email, text and voicemail and never returned or responded to any of my contact methods; long story short their IME lied 🤥 and said I was 100% capable to return to regular work duties. I have a severely bulging disc at L5-S1 that needs surgery which the doctor never physically examined or evaluate, although he lied in his notes that he did and I had a left total shoulder replacement three weeks prior to seeing him and still had my bandages and in a sling which definitely disqualified me from returning back to work. So I now have a new attorney and they are doing an amazing job! They jumped right on everything and have been a big help. The pressure is now off me and I can just focus on having surgery and recovery so that I can get back to working.
