I am a retired personal injury lawyer and a retired Judge from New York. During my 40 years of practicing law; I have been involved with or presided over thousands of personal injury cases. As you can imagine; I had many choices available to me (in selecting a lawyer) when I was I struck by another vehicle while walking in a parking lot. As a result of the offending driver’s negligence: I was seriously injured and required spinal surgery. After a great deal of research and several interviews, I had the privilege of meeting Carl Reynolds. From the outset, Mr. Reynolds was engaging and extremely professional. He and his team, especially Brett, were involved and engaged in my lawsuit. I was injured on 12/4/2024 and within one year; my case was settled for not one policy but they were able to secure additional compensation from a secondary policy. They also, took care of my health care bills and made sure that all of the bills were paid and that I would not be left holding the “bag” so to speak with surprise bills from health care providers after my case was resolved. They say ‘injuries are personal’ but they will choose who they want to ‘fight’ for or against and for what reason. They may make a few calls, but they don’t want to have to ‘fight’ for you. They let my daughter’s case go after the pip insurance ran out when it was against the city of Sarasota and the police dept from an ambulance that ran a red light and crashed into my truck she was driving. They say they had reason not to pursue, but it was not even a justifiable contributing factor in the case. Just a good excuse not to continue the case. Don’t believe they’re not in it for the easy money, they’ll get the FIRST third of anything they get for you. But I’m sure this is true for all the injury attorneys. Caveat emptor-let the buyer beware or aware. We were referred to them via the physical therapist that was providing the care.
