OK, Let me tell you this first, I do go around and give 5 star reviews to businesses but to Carlisle+Byers if I could give 10, I would. Terrible experience with this law firm, doesn't care about your best interest at all. Looks for fastest scenario to get himself paid (Chris), and turns away from the bigger picture. Decided final decision in my case without my consent or knowledge. My advice find a different law firm.

After working in the same line of work for most his life, my husband had a bad fall witnessed by his boss and co-workers. As we were getting close to retirement, his injuries truly changed the plans we had made for our future and threatened to ruin us financially. This review is about my attorney, Chris Carlisle of Carlisle and Byers, LLC. A year ago, I was feeling so very desperate and scared: L&I had suddenly closed my claim. I hadbeen badly injured in 2018 while working at Washington State University when a 25 lb. shade fell from 16 ft onto my head knocking me senseless for a while and causing me to suffer a traumatic brain injury and a cervical C-1 subluxation. L&I had covered me for awhile but had limited many of the therapies my doctor had ordered. Then in April last year, 2021, L&I closed my claim. They used a report by a doctor they had hired and paid who talked to me for 20 minutes to dispute my injuries and then L&I just threw me away. Needing my L&I coverage for the problems I still have, I called many lawyers with no one wanting to take on my case. That is, until I called Chris Carlisle. He was the only one with worker’s comp knowledge willing to take on my case and go after L&I on my behalf to reopen my claim. I’m so glad he did. What a relief to put my case into his very competent hands. Throughout this past year, in addition to knowing what to do about my claim legally, Chris has also been caring, helpful, and understanding, especially when taking into consideration my head injury limitations.
