Everyone was very helpful. They helped secure my disability claim. Highly recommend😊

EDIT: this is my gmail address that I use for google reviews, as I don’t want to share my private address and name with the world. (I was the victim of abuse and don’t want them to know information about me.) I had the misfortune of working with Cascadia disability of law for over three years. Cascadia didn’t request medical records for my hearing. My doctors’ offices separately confirmed this. Just hoping to spare some people the hassle of dealing with this office. Also, I noticed a few years ago that one of their old Google reviews was written by a paralegal/assistant who used to work for them. They were boosting their ratings using employees who worked for the firm. Eventually they changed the names on the reviews so it was less obvious. Unfortunately, I only noticed the fake reviews after I had signed the intake paperwork. ORIGINAL POST: They didn’t even bother to request my medical records before my hearing. I basically did all the work—getting medical records, getting letters from my doctors, filling out forms, etc. I could have done this alone and saved $7,000. Would not recommend Brian. Go to the website “How to Get On” for advice on SSDI/SSI.

We would note that we have never had a Client by this name. We also would note that we have never gone to a hearing without acquiring medical records for the hearing unless the Client has not been in touch with us for more than a year, and even in those very infrequent instances we still requested updated records from previous providers. This person could contact us, provide their actual name and demonstrate they actually are or were our Client and we could show them the evidence of our requesting medical records. But we bet dollars to doughnuts that will not happen - you know why? because the assertions in this fake-review are 100-percent false and this poster never has been our Client. Because, even in a situation where a Client provides us with records, we request them again anyways to avoid accusations by SSA that we altered or edited the records in a manner to our advantage; and of course to have more up to date records.

Regardless, we hope this poster finds the peace and serenity they seek during this holiday season.

Thank you for helping my cousin secure his disability claim in only 9 months! Because of you he was able to keep his home and not live in a tent. Great communication. He could not be happier 😀

I applied for SSDI in January 2019. After being declined twice and having last year's judicial hearing canceled when I caught Covid-19, my case has been resolved fully in my favor. It's April 2023. The people at Cascadia Disability Law thoroughly prepared me for what they expected to be a long process, and stayed in touch through the long wait during the pandemic. I'm grateful that they were honest about the work involved in putting together a thorough application. I also appreciated that they were always upfront about my chances in each stage of the application process. For me they were: initial review by social security (mostly not approved), reconsideration (...maybe?), judicial hearing (pretty good). I couldn't be more satisfied.

It is the best thing when a Claimant receives the favorable outcome they earned and need. Helping others achieve some small measure of financial and healthcare security is a tremendous honor and privilege. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on co-workers. We wish you all the best in 2023 & beyond.

If it weren't for Brian, my husband wouldn't have gotten the disability he deserved. We are very grateful for him.

I hired Cascadia. Disability Law back in I believe it was 2011to do both Social Security and Veterans Benefits. There is nothing I can say except if you go anywhere else your not very smart. Brian won my Social Security claim in like 4 months after I'd spent years and had been denied 3 times even with another attorney. My VA disability claim took a few years but in the 2015, Brian won that too. I'd remember Brian asking me what I was willing to settle for and my answer was I'd only settle for 100%. Everyone told me you never get 100%out the gate and in a way they were right but also so was I. I was rated 70% paid at 100% but they only went back to 2008. So Brian started the appeal for the start date and in 2018 we won that too. Can't say anything slightly negative about Brian especially since I'm a hard to deal with person and I'm sure I gave him more than a few gray hairs and sleepless night. I am still fighting the VA to this day and wouldn't be getting a thing if not for Brian. So when someone says he hasn't done anything and is lazy there is no way I believe that. The money it cost me wasn't and never has been missed in fact its the best money ever spent. Thanks again Brian Scott Wayson 3 for 3 and thanks for changing my life John W. Reno

They started out great and represented me in my case but afterwards totally forgot about me. It was like I didn't exist once they won the case. It's been 4 months since I won and still haven't been paid my back pay. My attorney never answers the phone. And today I found out that I haven't received my back pay because my attorney hasn't accepted the payment. I'm homeless and desperately need the money to get a place to live. All I get from this place is the run around. I don't recommend them at all. Poor customer relations in every way.

We appreciate hearing feedback from those we interact with. It is our honor to help folks navigate the lengthy and complex Social Security system. We are sorry the agency gave you incorrect information and made false statements to you. Trust me, we are not "declining" any payments that an agency sends our way - in fact they automatically get sent to our bank once the agency releases the funds - we have zero control over that process. The people of Cascadia Disability Law appreciate the opportunities to assist others and do our level best to achieve favorable outcomes. In our experience. people, including those of us at CDL, respond better to folks who speak to us like fellow humans rather than cursing us out for agency mistakes and misstatements. Grandma always said we would catch more flies with honey than vinegar, and time and time again she is proven correct.
Thank you for your words.

This is the best disability law firm ever. They get all your records quickly, are very responsive, and develop your case well. This was my 4th attempt, and without them I don't think I would have been approved. I highly recommend!

After previously being denied 3 times I was skeptical that anyone would be able to help me. Thankfully Cascadia took on my case and we had a victory in less than a year! I am so grateful to the wonderful team at Cascadia for the expert advice and hard work on my behalf. They were very communicative and pleasant to work with. Thank you for making such a positive difference in my life.

They were easy to work with. I won my claim on the first application. They were in contact with me often and really guided me though all the paperwork. Having an attorney is the only way to get this done. I never could have won this claim without Cascadia Disability Law.

The firm is incompetent and incapable of representing clients with cognitive issues. Wayson is a sloppy, rude, and condescending person who wishes to do as little as possible for his clients. If you have an obvious disability that you don't need representation for, this is the law firm for you. If they had to specialize in any other kind of law they would go bankrupt, but Brian is too lazy and stupid to chase ambulances.

To date my experience has been pleasant. I have been kept informed of the progress of my case whether by me contacting Cascadia Disability, or vice versa. Things have slowed down with courts die to the Caronavirus, but I have been given positive and encouraging feedback when checking in. Since day 1 have felt comfortable with this form and confident about attorney's capabilities and representation of me.
