Most ignorant law office ever the girl that answered the phone was a complete ignorant non professional person ever do not recommend this place at all

I would never recommend him to anyone. I called Chad's office and told his secretary exactly what type of law firm I was needed. She told me yes Chad could help me and that it would cost $100.00 for a consult. When I went into the office she took my payment. Which I will not pay in advance again. When I went into his office, Chad was rude asking me why I was there. I explained why and that his receptionist told me he could help. He told me no he could not help. He gave me a number to another attorney. I was in and out of his office in under 10 minutes. That is $10.00 a minute. His secretary could have told me he could not help, and given me the number over the phone.

My property was damaged in front of my house and Chad was recommended to me. I made a drive all the way from Salt Lake to Ogden, just to have him completely ignore me even after he picked up my case willingly. When I got there, he seemed completely uninterested in what I had to say, and contacted the insurance company without all the facts. He actually made matters worse by doing that. Completely unprofessional. I recommend searching for someone else.

Chad and everyone in his office are AMAZING! I absolutely cannot say enough how awesome, helpful and great they are! I will definitely refer anyone to Chad, and use him for any future legal needs! I will say that if you are "soft", take things personally or get offended easily then I would advise being aware that Chad is a no bull, no sugar coating anything kind of guy which I personally appreciate and want, especially when its legal situations. I only say this because I have seen reviews stating he was rude or unprofessional, which he is not. Chad is great at his job, knows what he's doing and is super helpful and nice! He gets to the point and gets things done!

My husband and I were referred to Chad through my husband’s insurance for will preparation. After 5 minutes of being in his office we ended up walking out because he was so unprofessional, uninterested in helping us, and belittling. I would highly recommend finding a different attorney for any legal service. As many other reviews note, he seems to normally conduct business in this rude and unprofessional manner.

Hey! Chad McKay responded to all my phone calls in a timely manner. He listened, was polite, professional and understanding. He looked at all options and promptly communicated with the proper channels to quickly resolve my case and save money and time for me as a client. Hire this lawyer!

Very poor quality of professionalism! Would never recommend him for anything! We were 10 minutes early to the appointment and we heard them say in a disgusted manner that we were early they didn’t need to take care of us yet. we sat in the front office for 30 minutes and listened to him on a conference call with a divorce client. we heard where he worked, how much they made, the fight over the snowblower and the hide-a bed couch. Then upon walking into his office and telling him that we were getting married and needed a prenup he asked us “How long have you been dating and don’t tell me 10 days?” very unprofessional we didn’t go to him for marriage counseling. After an hour of listening to him give very negative information, he sent us out of his office with two packets for what we had asked and told me to fill them out and get them notarized. The one was not even the correct packet.

Chad McKay helped us with our case and was super fast and efficient to help without causing further distress. One of the kindest lawyers you’ll meet. Left very satisfied with his help.Also his staff was super kind and helpful.

Nice enough but the service was not good. I had legal insurance so it felt like my case kept getting pushed to the bottom of the pile. There was no urgency whatsoever and my case took much longer than it had to due to this office. There were rarely responses to my emails and questions unless I complained to the secretary. Also lots of errors and time needed to correct pretty basic information on court ppwk, like my name and county.

Unless you've been shot, don't bother calling this office. They have no interest in putting in any work for you. All they want is an easy payday. Chad actually yelled at me on the phone that he doesn't want to help me. So don't waste your time calling

I went against this lawyer and he 100% didn't submit the orders as we had agreed in mediation. No I didn't hire for me but it's clear how they do business.

I went to this lawyer for some custody issues that I was having with my ex-husband, from my first cunsultation, it didn’t seem like he care about my case, what he was more excited was to talk about his fees, We went in front of the judge and this lawyer was not ready for my case, he didnt know what to say because he had to look on my file in front of the jugde to see what to say, it was really embarrasing. My ex husband went to court with no lawyer and he was able to represent himself a lot better than the representation I got with this lawyer. I Worked so hard to give him good evidence; police records, and my son therapist records, but since he didn’t took the time to review my case before court all my evidence was useless. The second time we had to go back to court, Mckay was late an hour, because he went to the Ogden Court instead of Farmington, He was not prepare as usual, and he tried to charged me $350 for that hour he was late. I let his assistant know that I was not going to pay for his mistake, on top of me having to wait for him, he talked to Mckay and they waived that fee. The level of unprofessional from this so called Lawyer is unbelievable, he only care about your money and not your case. When you look for a lawyer you want someone that is going to be on your side and someone you can trust… trust me you are not going to find that here. Do your research before you give this man your trust and money.
