We had an excellent experience with the Chandler Law team. Everyone was friendly and the entire process was clearly explained and straightforward. Jackie Berger walked us through the process and options, gave us time to think it through and we arrived at a decision that was clearly the right thing to do. Once our decision was made, Chandler Law provides you with a Binder (and flash drive) that is beautifully set up and completely explained to us. I highly recommend.

It’s hard to talk about difficult topics like death. I was a little unsure what to expect going into our first planning meeting, but it turned out to be the best decision my husband and I made. A Chandler Law attorney listened to our concerns, answered every question, and gave us advice that applied directly to our family. The small consultation fee was nothing compared to the peace of mind and value we walked away with. During a Wine & Wills event, the firm’s owner mentioned that they are relational lawyers, and we found that to be true. You can tell they truly care about their clients.

We had a very disappointing experience with this company. At the Wine Mixer, we were told that because we received a Golden Ticket, we would only be charged if we chose to move forward with setting up a trust and will. Based on that clear understanding, we attended their consultation. After deciding NOT to move forward, we were surprised to find that our credit card was still charged $250. When we reached out, we were told that this fee was for the consultation itself. This was never explained to us in advance — in fact, it directly contradicted what we were promised when we received the Golden Ticket. We feel this was misleading and unfair. To make matters worse, our card was kept on file without our consent to process this charge. Despite asking for it to be removed, the process has been frustrating and not handled with the level of professionalism we would expect from a company that promotes itself as trustworthy for such important family planning matters. Overall, we feel misled and disappointed. If you are considering working with them, make sure you get every detail of their promises in writing up front, and be prepared that what is pitched at events may not align with what you actually experience. We will not be recommending their services and hope others can avoid going through the same situation.
Dear Shilan,<br><br>We value feedback from every family we meet and want to address your concerns directly. The Golden Ticket offer you received at our July event reduced our standard $790 Life & Legacy two hour Planning Session to $250. As is our practice, these terms were explained during the presentation, confirmed again when your appointment was scheduled that evening, and reiterated in follow-up communications, all of which are documented. If you decide to engage, the $250 fee is applied toward an estate plan if one is created, or retained as the earned consultation fee if you decide not to engage.<br><br>With respect to billing, our firm does not process payments without disclosure and consent. Your card information was provided by you and your wife at the event to reserve your planning session, and our billing system automatically sends confirmation notices whenever information is added, updated, or charged to ensure transparency. You were provided all notices.<br><br>Your nearly three hour consultation took place on September 12th, and the earned $250 fee was processed in accordance with the agreed terms. However, as a courtesy because of your claimed misunderstanding, our firm issued a full refund on September 19th and sent written confirmation the same day (well before your review on September 23rd). This was done promptly to ensure your comfort and clarity, despite the fact that the consultation had already been completed.<br><br>At Chandler Law, we are committed to clarity, professionalism, and high-quality service for every family we serve. While we regret that your experience left you disappointed, we stand by the transparency of our process and remain dedicated to providing peace of mind to the clients who entrust us with their planning.
