Kelly did great with reviewing our divorce decree and filling, stewart bear did good so far with my estate work and business succession plan. They are expensive but so far have delivered as expected. If paying a premium I expected white glove service which I got. I use other lawyers for litigation
Charlie Shafer attorney Chestnut Cambronne PA was very easy to work with and gave realistic potential outcomes of the legal issues we faced. If you need to feel to confident in an attorney and feel you are in good hands, hire Charlie Shafer. Simply put, he navigated the legal pitfalls we had and won the day for our case in the end. Charlie works very well with his team and so the work and communication is efficient and timely. We needed legal education on the matter we were dealing with and we were provided with knowledge and strategy the whole way through. We were very pleased with the outcome of the work performed and would use and refer Chalie Shafer without hesitation in the future.
I have been in legal relationship with Chestnut and Cambronne for just under two years. My attorney was Charlie Shafer, and I can't say enough good about him. I had two cases, one relatively small, and one larger one dealing with a former employer. From the beginning, Charlie was kind, calming and compassionate. He listened carefully to me and talked me off the emotional ledge more than once. He was super communicative. Any time I had a question, or needed something, he always got back to me in a prompt and courteous manner. He told me exactly what to expect. Even when I wasn't sure that pursuing legal action was going to be worth it, he encouraged me to stand up for myself. Knowing Charlie had my back, I went forward, and it paid great dividends. When other law firms turned me down, Chestnut and Cambronne took me on. Charlie loves helping people, and going after the "bad guys". We made a great team! If I ever need legal representation again, Charlie would be my first call!! As a side note, I've read a bunch of negative reviews out here, and I just want to say: 1. Lawyers aren't paid to fix all of your life's problems and dysfunction. That's YOUR job. 2. The attorneys at this particular law office will treat you with respect, IF you treat them with that same courtesy, and work with them. Do your part.
Stuart Bear of Chestnut Cambronne did the estate work (created her Will and Trust) for my mother. Upon my mother's passing Stuart informed us he was referring us to an associate (Tea Baker). Tea Baker wasn't familiar with the case and needed two weeks to review paperwork. She did not appreciate the questions my sister and I asked (we were appointed co-Trustees of the Trust) and indicated we would need to retain her separately for a separate fee if we wanted to have any contact with her. After experiencing the death of a parent it made things all the more difficult to have an attorney who was borderline rude to us. Upon my mother's estate needing to go through informal probate she wanted a $5000 retainer. At this point we cut ties with Tea Baker (terminated the attorney/client relationship). We were able to settle the informal probate on our own at a total cost of $535.00 (filing fee and legal publishing fee). Tea Baker was simply overcharging us and probably overcharged us for the little she did do with the Trust (once again, we chose to work directly with the bank and figured out most of it on our own). How sad that my mom put her trust in Stuart Bear to settle her estate and he passed us off on this attorney who basically did nothing and caused more stress and grief for an already grieving family. If I could put "no stars" I would. Stay away...
They respected my time, answered my questions promptly, and I am pleased with the court outcome.
That only did we get screwed over by Health partners by our private information being taken from us but then only to receive $49 as a disgrace. It’s disgusting and as far as I’m concerned, these attorneys are more crooked than health partners. !!!!!!!
I went to these guys for help when my son was being domestically abused by the mother and her husband. They didn't tell me that my son was in the home of a child sex offender. But knew. They said they would help me, and by the time I got the money together, they told me they couldn't. They only care about small cases, they don't care about holding the county or the state or judges accountable for criminal child neglect in endangerment an abandonment! Even with the immaculate evidence.
Lisa , Annalise , and Frank and their team were really awesome and helped my sister and I get through a really horrible time with compassion and empathy and frankly they deserve a strong drink and a Nobel peace prize for having to put up with my late moms bad choice in men . Even though it didn’t turn out how we hoped we couldn’t have asked for a better support to help us through this.
Stuart Bear is was of the kindest people I’ve ever met! He has given me great guidance, truly listens and has met me with kindness through things that have been challenging to even consider for the future of my children.
Full disclosure: I was not the client of Chesnut Cambronne (specifically Karly Kauf). She represented my HOA's former property management company, First Service Residential. Her failure to communicate correspondence between my HOA and her client, after we were instructed to speak only to her office, resulted in increased fees and consequences to her client, First Service Residential. While we were already in the process of ending some contracts, the experience with the law office of Chesnut Cambronne, while representing First Service Residential, led directly to our HOA terminating additional contracts with them. In short - the actions of this firm resulted in a loss of business to their client. Chesnut Cambronne likely doesn't care how my organization feels about this review, because I was not their client. But their actions cost their client business. We started 2024 with 3 contracts with First Service Residential - and by October all 3 had been terminated. Attached is an email between First Service Residential (Chesnut Cambronne's client) and my HOA board, where they confirmed that no member of Chesnut Cambronne had not notified them of our communications with her or the termination of our contract.
Very fast response and great to work with!
I can't emphasize enough to stay away from this firm. My experience has been a complete disaster. My attorneys were Lisa Henry and AnnaLisa. They have been my lawyers for almost a year and have billed me over $12,000. My pretrial was scheduled for 1:30 today (Monday) Late Friday I received an email from them saying they were withdrawing as my lawyers because of an irreconcilable conflict. I have had no clear explanation of what this is. They didn't call me but sent it thru email. I have sent them several messages requesting an explanation. Only getting the reply that there was a conflict within their firm. They have just completely blindsided me less than 6 hours of a business day before my pretrial with the judge and opposing council and 23 days before my court date. So basically for almost this past year they have had meetings and telephone conversations with me ringing up a bill of over $12,000, but now when it comes to the harder part of pretrial they withdrew and won't explain why. Any law firm that behaves like that and thinks it's ok, is not a place to use. It astonishes me how this could even happen. So I went into my pretrial today unrepresented by an attorney. Stay away from here because if it happened to me it could happen to you. Completely unethical behavior and negligence.
Chestnut Cambronne and their staff are amazing. I always felt like I had the best representation possible, and I hope to continue working with Chestnut Cambronne for many years to come. Throughout my time at this firm, I’ve had the pleasure to work with Katie Kelly, Eric Bjerva, Mike Ingvaldson, and many more of their staff. They’ve helped my family through challenging times regarding different issues. I truly am grateful for their expertise and have far exceeded my expectation.
I reached out to Mike Ingvaldson at Chestnut Cambronne PA when I needed legal help and got the best possible result. He was very helpful, knowledgable, kind, and fun to be around to top it off. I will definitely be back if I need any further legal consultation!
From my very first interaction with Chestnut Cambronne Law Firm, I was met with an unparalleled level of professionalism and support, particularly from Mike Ingvaldson, who handled my criminal defense case. Mike's expertise and dedication to justice were evident throughout the entire process. He went above and beyond to ensure I was informed, comfortable, and prepared for each step of the journey. I cannot recommend Mike Ingvaldson and the entire team at Chestnut Cambronne highly enough. Thank you, Mike and the Chestnut Cambronne team, for your exceptional service and for standing by me every step of the process.
When I had a sticky situation and needed someone I could trust, my first call was to Mike Ingvaldson. He was very understanding, sympathetic and knowledgeable and obtained the very best result. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome and I highly recommend Mike.
As a person with many years dealing with Chestnut & Cambronne and specifically Gretchen Schellhas. They may work for you well. It's more how legally they go about it. For the past 5 years our legal rights were violated repeatedly. Federal bankruptcy laws were wildly ignored by Ms Schellhas and her client. Ms Schellhas carelessly and illegally shared my personal information that is protected by numerous laws with adversaries. We're at the point where I will die my own sword rather than face the humiliation of defeat to a cheater. The information you seek is on a flash drive located in Central Park. (Blue shoe) The tomorrow's get lessened, yesterday never goes away. Justice may not find me in my lifetime, but justice doesn't end in death.
