I really like Attorney Chirafisi as a person, however communication could have been clear, direct and timely regarding aspects of delivery upon receiving offer from that Fitchburg municipality. Once you blow at the level that incriminates you and guarantee a win for the State, basically there is no defense for you regardingless of 1st offense and circumstances. All stakeholders in the bureaucracy get to line their pockets. $5000 retainer vs. $3000 fee for a lawyer will yield the same judgment and outcome. So,1st time OWI if you blow at a 0.15 and there are no vulnerabilities to defend, you will be out of the following $: $250 or more for SRR 22 insurance to get Occupational license for 6 months to drive 60 hours a week plus $50 -$100 to DMV to get those scheduled and issued, then $325 for Alcohol Assessment then $350 for 8 weeks of classes ONLY held at Madison College Truax campus for those who live in close proximity to the Madison area PLUS the $1000 ticket you have to pay. Do the math and think about that decision to get behind the wheel = over $7000🤔 Whose really winning?

Michael covey is amazing. Let me first say I’m not a career criminal but I know a lot of people that have dealt with attorneys and I have spent a ton on attorneys for my brother. I have never come a crossed an attorney that was willing to take the time and listen to the full story without being rude or asking to be retained first in my life. This includes a family attorney that we have spent a ton of money with over the last decade. Michael listened for longer than he probably should have to me talk and then gave me his opinion and did exactly what he said quicker than expected and treated me with respect not like a number or a criminal. My grandmother is 88 years old and I haven’t been able to come to the Midwest in 13 years because of my actions but also a public defender missed a court date which causes a warrant to go out for my arrest. Long story short Michael covey is amazing he helped me more than I ever imagined and he never talked to me a day in his life he had no reason to go above and beyond without me retaining him but he did. Also the paralegal at the front desk took better notes that I ever could imagine. When Michael was reading me back what the notes said I was shocked she actually took the time to write little details down and then apologized for being quite for a second because she was taking notes. If I ever need a lawyer I will be contacting Chirafisa Law specifically Michael again and my brother will be changing lawyers to Michael if he makes another mistake. It’s unbelievable how helpful and caring Michael was especially since I hadn’t paid a dime. There’s not many people that care especially attorneys without being paid first. It’s pretty sad mays law office wouldn’t even put a call in after our family has spent far beyond 50k but Michael did it without hesitation. Dave is awesome, I was wrongly convicted by the state patrol for driving under the influence(first offense). After dealing with loss of driving privileges and a major increase in auto insurance for three years fighting the state for even a plea deal, the time finally came to go to trail.
