CCK nailed it!! I received my 100% TDIU... and they got me housebound status(SMC-S). Yep, I'm getting 100% + additional $$$. This is why you need a law firm. I was already at 90% which I had done on my own. But their experience and knowledge is what I was missing. So thank you very much to my team of Partners and all the associates that helped with my claims. I'm super excited and honestly it's life changing. Thank You Very Much CCK! *Old Review: My team is hard at work getting me TDIU. CCK has exceptional communication and has helped reassure more than once. Thank You Very Much!

Response from owner

Thank you for your positive feedback, Robert. We’re glad to hear that our communication has been helpful and reassuring for you during the TDIU process. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we appreciate the trust you’ve placed in our team. We look forward to continuing to support you.

Waste of time after comparing them with two other firms who already want my case, they spent almost 90 minutes getting info and documents from me only to decline without explanation. As others have said, they cite "legal reasons" for not disclosing their decision to decline, however I have dealt with counsel privately and professionally for many years and have always received an explanation when representation is declined. Again as others have said in their reviews, it does not seem like they are interested in assisting with complex VA disability cases. 2 stars for the total lack of transparency in their process but the woman who did my intake work was excellent to speak with and very thorough. Clearly if two other smaller firms want my case they believe they can win, so I was very surprised to be declined and have them refuse to explain why.

Response from owner

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We understand how frustrating it can feel to invest significant time in an intake process and then learn that we are unable to move forward with representation.

Our team conducts thorough evaluations so we can make careful, ethically guided decisions about the cases we accept. When we decline representation, we are often limited in what we can share regarding the specific reasons, consistent with professional obligations and firm policy. We recognize that this can feel unsatisfying, and we appreciate your perspective on transparency.

We’re glad to hear that your experience with our intake team member was positive, and we will be sure to share your kind words. We sincerely wish you the very best as you move forward with the firm you choose and in pursuing the benefits you believe you are entitled to.

CC&K is an excellent law firm. Reliable immensely knowledgeable professionals. The staff is open and honest guiding the veteran through the processes with success for the veteran to receive the correct disability rating. The veterans concerns are their concerns. A trustworthy law firm. They respect the veterans and the veterans rights to receive a fair assessment of his or hers disabilities. This law firm is committed to ensuring the veteran is represented fully to the extent of the law by which the VA uses as their template for reviewing cases and awarding ratings. CC&K is the best law firm bar none. Thank you and wishing you continued success

Response from owner

Thank you, Greg, for taking the time to share such a thoughtful and detailed review. We truly appreciate your kind words and your trust in CCK Law. Advocating for veterans and ensuring they receive fair, accurate disability ratings is at the core of our mission, and it means a great deal to know that our commitment, transparency, and respect for veterans’ rights made a positive difference in your experience. On behalf of our attorneys and staff, thank you for your support and well wishes. It has been an honor to serve you, and we wish you continued success as well.
When it was all said and done I actually lost 150 a month because of this company

Response from owner

Thank you for sharing your feedback. VA disability ratings are determined solely by the Department of Veterans Affairs based on the medical and legal evidence available at the time of review. In some cases, if VA determines that a condition has improved, it may reduce a rating, which is outside of our control. Our role is to advocate based on the evidence and applicable law, but the final decision always rests with VA. We appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective.

I'm an Army Ranger veteran (GWOT). After just a ten-minute phone call, I quickly realized they're greedy and wanted to siphon as much as they could off of me. I didn't even bother sending them my paperwork. They called and texted me a few times, I told them I wasn't interested, and then THEY sent ME an email saying they couldn't take on my case. Ha! I wouldn't touch them with a ten-foot pole. If you can find other options, don't bother with this one.

Response from owner

Thank you for sharing your experience, and we appreciate your service. We’re sorry to hear that your initial interaction left a negative impression. Our intake calls are intended to briefly understand a veteran’s situation and determine whether our firm is able to assist, and there are times when we ultimately decide not to proceed after that review. Any follow-up communications are meant to ensure clarity and closure in that process, not to be intrusive.

We respect your decision and regret any frustration this caused. We wish you well.

I can’t remember the last time someone that had a future payday from me on the horizon was so blatantly rude to me at the onset. Text saying we tried to reach you, but no missed calls. Already suspicious. So you call them. Agent dives right into personal questions before they will discuss anything about the process, fees, timeline, etc. You’ll need to have specific documentation ready to read and submit to them, and if you do not they will give you an incorrect method to obtain it. They will mention a denial letter multiple times after you explain you are not appealing a decision but amending a current one for a potential increase. Too fast through their script - they don’t even pay attention, they just read the next question. 20 minutes later they’ll tell you someone will review and get back to you. Very rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Find someone better.

Response from owner

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your initial interaction left a negative impression.

Our firm focuses on assisting veterans and their families after VA claims have been denied, and our intake process is structured to collect certain information up front so we can determine whether and how we may be able to help. This includes asking specific questions and reviewing documentation early in the conversation.

For more than 25 years, we’ve been honored to serve thousands of veterans and their families nationwide, and we’re proud of our record of advocating for veterans through meaningful, precedential cases. This law firm only seems to want to help veterans with simple cases. Things a VSO would probably be able to handle for free. Just like many other reviews, I submitted my information for review, and was told they would take all the easy stuff but the one thing I need an law firm for they wouldn't be able to help.

Response from owner

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. We’re sorry to hear that your experience left you feeling disappointed.

Our firm carefully reviews every request for representation, and in some situations we may determine that we’re not the right fit based on the specific legal issues involved or the stage of a claim. That decision is never a reflection on the importance of a veteran’s concerns, but rather on whether we can responsibly and effectively assist.

We respect the vital role that VSOs play and believe veterans should work with whichever resource is best suited to their needs. We wish you the best.

This law firm denied my disability claim outright, but Hill & Ponton accepted it and achieved a 100% disabilty rating in less than two years. As a retired lawyer myself with 51 years of legal experience, I chose the experts in military disability law at Hill & Ponton and they proved to me that they were the BEST! I wouldn't recommend CCK to any veteran with serious injuries who expect a thorough review of their claim. If you desire professional handling, a highly competent staff, compassion, expertise, and honest representation, choose the experts at Hill & Ponton.

Response from owner

Thank you for sharing your perspective. We’re sorry to hear that your experience with our firm did not meet your expectations.

While outcomes can differ based on the unique facts and evidence of each case, we respect every veteran’s decision to choose the representation they believe is best for them and are glad to hear you ultimately achieved a result you’re satisfied with. Refused to provide me service and refused to provide reason why.

Response from owner

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand how frustrating it can be when a firm is unable to take on a case. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept every matter brought to us, even when a claim may be valid. We’re truly sorry for any disappointment this caused. For further free assistance, we encourage you to reach out to a Veterans Service Officer through the DAV, who may be able to offer additional support.

I denounce this institution as a veteran who lost all. All gave some. Some gave all. Treated me like popcorn. Get popped.Get your GMO corn here, step right up...

Response from owner

We’re sorry to hear that you felt this way after reaching out to our firm. While we can’t speak to the specifics of your experience here, we take all feedback seriously. Our team is committed to treating every veteran with respect and care, and we regret that your interaction did not reflect that. If there’s anything factual we need to correct or address, we welcome direct communication so we can do so appropriately.

I was 100% satisfied with CCK law firm ,they will help you with your claim and answer every question you have ,to get every single benefit that you deserve. What i learned from their associates that I talked too was that "good enough" doesn't cut it anymore! Thank you JOE You were beyond my Expectation forever grateful

Response from owner

Thank you, Joe. We're honored to have exceeded your expectations and are so glad to hear you felt fully supported by our team. We believe veterans deserve more than “good enough,” and it means a lot to know that message came through. We’re grateful for the opportunity to work on your behalf and truly appreciate your kind words.

I was very happy with the representation I received. I am sure that had I not had this firm represent me and handle all of the paperwork That was required the results would not have been the same. They worked hard to get the final resolution I was hoping for.

Response from owner

Lynn, thank you for trusting our team and for sharing such kind feedback about your experience. We are glad we could handle the paperwork and guide you through the process so you reached the resolution you were hoping for, and we are always here if you ever need assistance again.

I have been a practicing attorney for 10 years and would not recommend using this firm. Everything is automated and no attorney will actually get on the phone to discuss your case.

Response from owner

We appreciate you sharing your thoughts and are sorry that your experience with our firm was disappointing. While we don’t have attorneys speak with every potential client during intake, rest assured that every file is reviewed by our legal team before a decision is made. Our intake staff are real professionals—never automated—and they work hard to ensure every veteran is heard and respected from the first interaction.

Waste of space i asked for representation they refused ajd have refused to release my file preventing me from getting the nedical care I need they are evil incarnate

Response from owner

We strongly disagree with the characterization presented in this review.

At no point did our team refuse to release any records or obstruct anyone from seeking medical care. That allegation is both inaccurate and harmful. We take all client communications seriously and document interactions thoroughly.

We understand that being denied representation can be frustrating. This does not mean we view your case as unimportant. We remain committed to supporting veterans through our free educational resources, including our blog, YouTube channel, and tools like the VA Claim Builder.

Submitted my information to them to see about holding the VA accountable for understating the situation with my disabilities. I was given an answer of they can't help me. I let it go. Then wondered why they couldn't help. So contacted them back. Asking for an explanation as to why they couldn't help me. Maybe there is something I can do to help my case. I was told legally they don't have to share why they can't. The truth is if active claims are open. They won't touch the situation until decisions have been made. Which is fine. The claims open pertain to surgery so. The claims have been decided on. Now no claims in process. Because it was a big secret and legally can't tell me after I forwarded my personal information. I will not use them. Imagine giving personal information and being told there's a legal issue with telling you why they can't help you. Amazing, I'm sure now that the other claims have completed. Now attorneys can help. Unfortunately it won't be CC&K. There was one that also contacted me and said if there are open claims they can help. Not sure what the big secret was that made it so I can't be helped by them. However another attorney said the same thing. We can't help. When asked why it was due to an open appeal and a request after surgery. Which go quickly. Should of been patient. But lost business because they're protecting a secret they legally can't state. Oh wrll.

Response from owner

Thank you for your feedback. We understand your frustration and regret that your experience left you feeling unsupported.

Submitting documentation for our review does not establish an attorney-client relationship. Our legal team evaluates many factors, including case posture and procedural stage, to determine whether we are in a position to help. If a claim is still active or pending a VA decision, we typically cannot intervene until it is complete, which is a common limitation across many veterans law firms.

We truly appreciate your consideration and hope you are able to find the support that best suits your needs.

Total waste of time. You talk to some random person on the phone who tells you that they will accept your case, then you spend an hour reviewing symptoms, discussing personal medical issues, sending them sensitive personal information and files and are left with the impression that they are going to help. Days later you get an email saying " After a thoughtful review by our legal team, we determined that we won't be able to offer representation for this specific case. We want you to know that your situation is important to us, and we are here to support you. If there is another claim on your mind, our team is more than willing to explore it with you. Should you need further assistance with this claim, we have provided the Disabled American Veteran's (DAV) number as a resource. We wish you the best." The reality is that they probably actually could help, but they don't think its worth their time. Maybe if you have a really old denial or something, but TBH it is a waste of time and then they just refer you to the DAV. What a joke don't waste your time. Surely they will post some BS reply under this.

Response from owner

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We understand that it can be frustrating to go through the intake process and then learn we are unable to offer representation. Please know that our legal team thoroughly reviews each case before making a decision, and we take that responsibility seriously.

If we declined to take your case, it does not mean it lacks merit. Due to high veteran demand and limited capacity, we can only accept a certain number of cases. Our VSOs, blog, YouTube channel, and free tools like the VA Claim Builder are available to support you.

We truly appreciate your service and wish you all the best moving forward.

First try, CCK took my case (despite all the internet jargon that CCK will usually reject). They have been very communicative (despite said jargon to contrary) and in contact regularly. When I call, they are very courteous and helpful. After only a few weeks, they already have my case (c) file from the va and have begun working. Its still early on, but so far I got no complaints at all.

Response from owner

Thank you for your positive feedback. We're glad to hear that you feel supported through the process and that our team has been communicative and helpful. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we're committed to working diligently on your case. We appreciate your trust in us and look forward to continuing to assist you.
