This firm is the most dishonest firm I have ever dealt with. I spoke to several attorneys after the fact, and they do not charge what he charges. They do not do things to their clients that he does in mediation. His attorney that was representing him lied to me directly, which I was their client. I told her I could no longer afford services and she told me it was perfectly fine as long as I continued to make my hundred dollar a month payments right before our divorce was finalized, he put a lien on my alimony, which is what I need to survive and he has taken us back-and-forth to court. He has charged me billing. That is inaccurate I went through every statement back to front found a lot of discrepancies. He charged me after he was no longer my attorney he didn’t show up for court. This farm is very crooked and is out to get you. They will agree with you and they will be nice to your face and as soon as anything is awarded, they will take it. I need an alimony to survive and he put a lien on it and his bill mind you 40,000 of his bill is strictly interest alone but his bill for a simple divorce no children no arguing no property to dispute basic simple divorce is $88,000. Go anywhere but here my actual bill should be about $12,000 from everything I added up which he has received $14,900 so far. He will screw his own clients. He is very unethical. I’ve had other attorneys. Tell me how unethical he is. My ex-husband‘s attorney even told us both. He will drag this out as long as he can until everybody’s out of money and he knew he was gonna do this I just did not believe him that he would do that. Stay away from this Firm at all cost. You’ll regret it!

I think this firm is very dishonest. They are running a fraudulent business. They scammed me and abused me for a long time. Here are some examples. 1. Before I decided to hire this law firm to handle my case, they promised all the initial consultation was free. Later from my first bill, I knew they charged all the time for initial consultation. 2. They gave fake promises they couldn’t make in order to get the business. They said they can get the results I wanted. But they couldn’t. They promised they would finish all the important court documents early so that I have a chance to check them before they file the documents to court. But they almost always drafted the court documents on the last day and filed the documents on the last moment and they didn’t give me a chance to check the court documents at all. 3. They always “forgot” what they were supposed to do. When I talked with attorney Steve and asked him to do something for me, he always promised to do it for me. But after one or two months when I checked the results, it seems he completely forgot what he promised to do and what we talked before. So we have to start everything again. Such things happened again and again. Later I figured out that keeping forgetting is their typical strategy to build high bills against me. They forgot to do things for me frequently. But they never forgot to add more charges to my bills. I strongly requested them to increase their efficiency for my case. But they never change, and they don’t want to change at all. 4. This firm run a fraudulent business and they inflated the bills for me seriously. Even though my case had no progress at all in some months, they still added several rounds of meaningless charges. When I questioned those charges, they didn’t give me a reasonable reply. The front desk even told me those charges were required by law. My direct evidence of their fraudulent service is from a court noticed attorney Steve just shut up his mouth thru out the 3 days at bench trial and refused to give any explanation. His silence just confessed to the court that he didn’t want to help us win our case !

Steve helped me with a very trying divorce. Because of him I am now able to see my children regularly.He would always respond, day or night. It felt like he actually cared.I would highly recommend him and his firm. They are the best there is.

We successfully reconciled, but now unfortunately I find myself in need of a great councilor again. Steve represented me through what I thought would have been an impossible mediation and at the end of the day we had settled on the division of assets, assignment of business ownership and a date of divorce. As devastated as I am regarding the dissolution of my marriage- Steve has been an irreplaceable advocate. He fought for me with integrity and kindness. August 2012-Steve has been great to work with! Finding myself in a situation where I had no experience, I was very confused and had to be very careful and cautious with every correspondence- I was grateful to have been introduced to Steve. I believe Steve's role in my reconciliation with my wife was crucial. His ability to explain the law and each ramification to me before moving forward was very important. His ability to defuse each issue brought to us by an aggressive apposing council was excellent. The presentation of our replies were communicated with the right mix of firmness and respect. I hope to never need his services again but if I ever need him again I would call Steve with out hesitation.

I went through the most surprising, undeserving, painful , and shocking experiences in my life this year that progressively got worse till it could worsen out. Anyway a family tried to frame me up in the nastiest way possible and I sought help from Attorney Steve of Christensen law. He saved me out of this situation that has landed most innocent people like me in jail. Highly recommended!

This is an excellent firm. I had a consultation about some complications from a previously resolved case, I had a consultation with an attorney over the phone where I sent him the documents and explained what was happening. About ten minutes after hanging up the attorney called me back to let me know that a "small miracle" had happened and he had just resolved the issue over the phone and sent over the resolved documents in an email. It was no small miracle though, it was a huge relief to massive amount of stress. What an amazing team.

UPDATE: I have been going through a probate case since 2018 and still not done. I have paid over $55,000 dollars to this lawyer and still getting charged. After Mediation December 14 2021. Steve told me that he was not going to charge me anymore only paperwork that goes to the court. Ok sounds good. But now every month they are changing my rates, and I have not signed anything for the rates to be changed. I have been charged for one lawyer to talk to another lawyer. So double charged. I have gone over the invoices and sent them back over and was supposed to get a phone call about them on Feb 22, 2024. Also Steve was late to court on Webex (2x), I had to call the office and see if he was going to get on. They do not listen when you ask for something. Thanks
