The second that your case doesn't go anywhere positive, is the second you will never hear from him again. You should be ashamed of yourself for leaving people out to dry like that, especially if you're the last option somebody had. And also, ignoring my calls and not returning calls is complete BS. You're supposed to be the person who fights for your client, not somebody who ignores them and waves a white flag in the process. It doesn't matter if you don't have anything to go with into court, you find a way and build off of that, you're a lawyer you should know this already, especially when somebody is depending on you to make things right.
