UPDATE!! NOW, AFTER TALKING TO FRANK FROM CLEARFIELD ASSOCIATES AND MY OWN PERSONAL RESOURCES, I HAVE A CLEAR UNDERSTAND OF WHAT IS HAPPENING. THE SCHEME THAT'S HAPPENING AT THIS FIRM AND PROBABLY MANY OTHER FIRMS AND THE DYNAMIC BETWEEN THEM AND PHYSICAL THERAPY FACILITIES IS INFLATION OF THE MEDICAL BILL. THEY HAVE AN AGREEMENT TO INFLATE THE BILL FOR THE OVERALL OUTCOME OF THE CASE. THE HIGHER THE MEDICAL BILL THE HIGHER THE SETTLEMENT OFFER WILL BE. THE LAWYERS GET THEIR 40% OFF OF THE TOP SO THEIR PAYOUT WON'T DECREASE. ONLY THE CLIENTS PAY OUT DECREASES. THE LAWYERS ARE SUPPOSED TO NEGOTIATE THE MEDICAL BILL FOR 30% - 50% LESS ON BEHALF OF THE CLIENT BUT INSTEAD THEY DON'T. THE PHYSICAL THERAPY GETS THEIR TRUE BILL IN RETURN FOR THE INFLATION OF THE BILL THAT SUPPORTS THE NEED FOR A HIGHER SETTLEMENT FROM THE DEFENDANT. THEREFORE, IN MY CASE PA PAIN & REHAB INFLATED MY BILL TO $13,425 WHEN IN ACTUALITY IT WAS $4,000. MY LAWYERS SHOULD HAVE DONE THEIR JOB AND STUCK TO THEIR OATH AND NEGOTIATED FROM THE $4,000. THE END RESULTS SHOULD HAVE BEEN POSSIBLY $2,500 TO PA PAIN & REHAB WHICH MEANS I SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN AN ADDITIONAL $1,000 OR MORE. SO BOOM THAT'S WHAT'S HAPPENING YAW AND SHOULD BE REPORTED TO THE BAR ASSOCIATION FOR A FULL INVESTIGATION. I strongly urge anyone considering Clearfield & Kofsky to think twice. My injury case, which started over two and a half years ago, just now reached a settlement. The lack of communication from this office was absolutely atrocious. I was left in the dark for months, with no updates and no transparency. Worse yet, I believe they lied about my medical bills to keep more of my settlement. The settlement was for $27,500, and out of that, I received only $10,485. They claimed that 24 visits over four months cost $13,425, which is completely false and doesn’t even add up. I suspect they’re in cahoots with PA Pain & Rehab. I will be reporting them to the bar association for a full investigation. Please be cautious—this is not a firm you can trust.

I called Ron Clearfield for my car accident and he was very helpful. He explained the legal process and was able to get her me through the process. I recommend anyone who had an accident to call Ron.

I was hit by a car while crossing the street on a green light as a pedestrian. Unfortunately my uncle recommended this law firm to me. They immediately had me start physical therapy etc yet never bothered to verify that the car insurance of the driver who hit me was valid until a year or more later. So after a year of wasting my time they found out that the insurance policy of the driver who hit me was not active. Then they transferred my case from Ron Clearfield to Braeden who was hard for me to reach. I had better luck getting in touch with Ron. Now my case is approaching the statute of limitations (next month). They could have gotten somewhere with my car insurance policy at least but let them ignore them all this time. I wish I went with a better law firm. At least one who wouldn’t have wasted my time a year plus. 2/17/25 Update: I was told that there is more time regarding the SOL. I will update my review when the case is resolved. 2/13/26 Update: My case was heard in litigation recently. I was represented by one of the attorneys in this group and was awarded $10k. Mr. Miksis was polite & did a good job. Unfortunately, the defendant was not found so my award cannot be collected unless this guy is ever located.

I put in an inquiry last night at 10:30 I immediately received a phone call from Mr. Ronald about my case and about 9:30 this morning Mr Richard who is one of Mr Ronald investigators called me about my case and he came out and got all of the information he needed. DO NOT USE CLEAR FIELD AND KOFSKY – AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I cannot express strongly enough how terrible my experience has been with Clear Field and Kofsky. If you’re considering their services, please think again! From the very beginning, their dispatch team has been dismissive and rude. Every time I called for updates, I felt rushed off the phone as if my time and concerns were irrelevant to them. It’s disheartening to encounter such a lack of professionalism when you’re going through a sensitive process. After waiting FIVE long years, I finally received a settlement of a mere $507.71. All that time wasted, countless follow-ups asking for basic updates, and the best they could offer was a suggestion that I should just go find a physical therapist myself. Seriously? That’s their idea of customer service? This entire ordeal has been nothing short of exhausting. If you value your time, money, and mental well-being, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Clear Field and Kofsky are simply terrible, and I can’t let others go through what I did. Save your energy and find a company that actually cares about its customers
