I saw his ad on Instagram and decided to try Mr. Mathews out to represent a family member. He responded quickly and acted even quicker. He visited my family member the same day. He assured me and my family member that he would do his best and he did just that. He walked away with a nolle prosequi. I will use him again for sure.

Mr.Matthews is very reasonable. I reached out and he responded right back he told me what he needed from me from the beginning..I appreciate everything he did and I would use him again and recommend him to others.

Terrible communication. Took my $500 and did nothing. Didn’t answer calls or emails. Office was filthy and unorganized. I would not recommend. It feels like a scam almost. Although I did meet him in person he’s unfortunately did nothing for me or my case what so ever. Especially when you’re looking for representation that reflects you. Praying for his company and professionalism.

I had my first experience with Mr.Mathews when he was hired by a firm that I hired to represent my husband in a criminal case. My husband and myself spoke to him one time in a 6 to 8 week period. He was very judgmental toward my husband because of his appearance. I tried reaching out to him for about a month with no response. He is extremely unprofessional and full of himself and gives off a very entitled attitude. Please do yourself a favor a do not hire him.

Poor representation. Poor communication. Poor service. Affordable is the only decent thing I can say, but even that is a stretch because I paid for an attorney to represent me and he never did. So it was a waste of money.

I hired Singleton Mathews for a criminal case back in 2020. It is now 2023 and the case is still ongoing and he disappeared. when people say someone ghosted you, he is the true definition of ghosting. Very unprofessional in his manner of doing business. He does not respond to calls or text messages or emails. He took a total of 12500 and did nothing. I asked for an itemized receipt he could never provide one.He does not advocate for his client, or has any intentions of finishing the job. He drags his feet for everything and gets nothing done. If you want to donate money to a scammer then by all means hire him. But if you want actual legal help I suggest looking for someone else. Don’t waste your time, energy or money on this man. When you first meet him he will say anything to get any type of money and then spend the money and do nothing for your situation. I would not recommend to no one.

Maybe they are out of business. Left a voicemail no follow up.

Mr Matthew's took my case and fought for the outcome he told me I should expect. He never asked me to take a plea because he believed in me and my innocence. He asked for my trust in the beginning and in the end was left with my graduate for his hard work.

he never answers, leaves a lot of the paper work he said he would do to the client, and he treats his clients poorly with little respect. I would not recommend him, if your gonna spend your money on a lawyer look for someone else. also most of the positive reviews here are not sincere since since he asks his clients to write them after his cases stay away

Singleton Mathews promptly met with me to discuss my case. Was very positive that we would win and charges dropped. Offered a reasonable payment plan. My case consisted of two trials in which he was able to get both trials moved up in date through all of the Covid-19 cancellations. I did find myself completing legal paperwork on my own (expungement forms etc.) which I was clueless as to what I was doing. I felt like I was left to take care of paperwork and to understand legal jargon on my own. It appeared that after full payment was made and cases over, it was hard to get in contact with Mr. Mathews. After not responding to several of my text messages asking for help to complete paperwork that was sent back to me from the court system ( forms that I filled out were missing attachments needed; again not knowing myself because i'm not a lawyer) I stopped texting him. ( texting is the mode of communication he told me he uses) My two cases have been dismissed. One of the cases has been expunged, but still trying to get the other case expunged. Hopefully, after completing what i believe to be all the paperwork needed for case, it will be totally done. The whole experience was a big inconvenience. I was somewhat satisfied with the legal services but for that amount I paid Mr. Mathews, I would have expected more professionalism at the end of my service and making sure the whole case was completely finalized (ended). Plus a follow up with the client to review services.
