Bill understands that, as a small company, we aren't always able to afford to spend a lot of money on legal fees. We have found his fees to be reasonable and Bill is also great at explaining what our various options are in a given situation. Bill Cochran lead me through a process of understanding much more about trademarks and patents. He was active in communication with other attorneys I had on board to help protect my daughters IP after her father passed. He followed our circumstances all the way through from his office to bringing his presence to the courthouse. Being completely prepared to testify on my daughters behalf (first year college student), he remained the entire day in the court room, even when he knew he would not have to go on the stand! I have worked with Bill for well over a decade on intellectual property, with everything from new patent filings, to lawsuits, to freedom-to-operate analyses. Bill and his team are incredible! They do terrific work at a reasonable price. Bill is able to quickly zero in on the important aspects and get a focused, clear and concise write up. I've head experience with many of the other options for patent lawyers in our area and I find Bill and his team to be the best by a significant margin.

We would give Bill Cochran zero stars if we could. To sum it up, Bill "represented us" for 3 months without even reading our patents. DIDNT EVEN READ THEM! He then proceeded to tell us he would charge us to read the patents. When we called him out for not reading the patents and doing his job, he quit "representing us". On top of that, his billing is extremely shady trying to extract more money out of you. Charging 1.5 hours for a .5 hour phone call. Stay way from this firm at all costs
