I had an appointment scheduled and then Rebecca cancelled the Google invite last minute with no reason. I reached out by phone, chat and email and got no response. If they didn't want to talk about my case, that's fine, but at least say so, not just cancel the appointment in Google last minute and not communicate with someone. _______ In response to your reply, I don’t appreciate being gaslit—whether here or via text—into deleting my review. This was my personal experience, and I have every right to share it. I may not be a client now, but there’s a reason for that, and I’m well within my rights to leave feedback. What you stated is simply not true. I’ve quadruple-checked with my brother, and none of this was communicated to him. However, interestingly enough, both of our phone numbers suddenly started working after I left this review… 🤔 To clarify, I scheduled the appointment on my brother’s behalf while he was traveling, but I provided all of HIS direct contact information. He woke up to a cancellation notice, asked me about it, and I immediately called and messaged to confirm whether it was an accident. Yet, no one answered or returned my calls or messages. If your policy is to not allow third-party appointment scheduling, then I should have never been able to make the appointment in the first place, and it was confusing to be able to do that, yet now I am being shamed for calling and trying to confirm something that I did. I was also fully transparent with your intake person about the situation from the beginning. At the end of the day, this was a frustrating and unprofessional experience. Instead of attempting to discredit my review, perhaps focus on taking some accountability and improving communication and policies to prevent future issues like this.

Hello Angel. In some cases, we are prohibited from even speaking with a party under our ethical rules and conflicts of interest. We cancel appointments and then follow up with email and calls by staff (to ensure the attorney isn't violating those same rules). You should have received all 3 things today. Our son received a DWAI and Justie and Rebecca were BEYOND helpful. I don't know how in the world we would have navigated all the ins and outs of this mess without them. They fought for our son in all the nooks and crannies they could find. If presented with a similar situation, please read this as: HIRE an attorney, most specifically: HIRE these two whizzes! This is the second time (and hopefully last time) I have hired the Colorado Lawyer Team to represent me. The first was a criminal case in which Justie's representation was top notch. This time she represented me in a family matter. She was very thurough, taking time to understand my case by speaking directly with my ex-wife which I know she appreciated. I contacted the law firm to discuss a criminal case. Justie called me ASAP to discuss my case. The initial call was a consultation but it felt like I was being taken care of by a lawyer that I already paid. She guided me through the cluster I was in. I was amazed by the service provided to me. The firm offers great rates and options. I was really down before talking with Justie but after talking with her I felt I could breath. They are just a phone call away.

In reading all the great reviews I wonder why I am being treated so differently. Any attempt at communication is met with divisiveness, avoidance, if not out right hostility. Nothing is being explained. No communication. It's been hard in large part because of the way I've been treated by attorneys. I hope Jennifer is helping me. I know they have contractors who are. There is just so little communication, and any there is is met with impatience. Unreturned phone calls, scathing e-mails or zero response to emails. I am not being kept up do date on issues. Lack of communication causes more stress than the issue itself. Knowing you can't reach your attorney if you need to, more stress. It's already stressful without his on top of it. I'm being made to feel like a bother. I can only hope she and her team are working in the background, but it would be good to understand what is happening. No I'm not leaving my real name.
