I was entering the hospital for an operation that had an expected time of admission for 5 days. Unfortunately, there was a mistake made the second day after the actual operation. I was overdosed by Propofol, the same chemical that killed Michael Jackson. The heart and lungs both stopped, and it took Narcan to get everything started again. My five day stay finally ended after 54 days. I had to learn to walk again, and I suffered with an anoxic brain injury among other injuries. I requested the hospital to review the occurrence, and their response was that the pharmacy determined that there would be no lasting injury for the propofol overdose.
