Personally, I have been using the services of attorney Cortigan for many years and I am very satisfied with his work, which is why I do not change attorneys. Furthermore, his assistants are very kind and I recommend them to you.

I am truly very disappointed. Very poor communication. My father has a tourist visa; he regularly comes to visit his family. He received a ticket for not having a license. I explained that on the Texas DPS website it states the 1943 Inter-American Convention on the Regulation of Inter-American Automotive Traffic, which includes my country, allowing tourists to drive for 90 days as long as they have a valid driver’s license. If not, I wonder how all the tourists who rent cars in Texas are supposed to drive? The lawyer did not know what he was doing; we had to pay the ticket and also probation. Every time I called and explained to the secretaries, I was ignored. The last time I called, the secretary Susan was chewing food while talking, which was very unprofessional, and she just told me to send an email for the complaint. In conclusion, do not waste your time or money with people who are not capable of providing good service. The lawyer, being unprofessional, chose the easiest option by suggesting probation without first asking if we wanted to choose another alternative.

Horrible service and staff was unprofessional. My mom had a clear record and they were unable to get her ticket dismissed. When she asked about the court fees and other charges, the young lady she spoke to literally said, “I don’t know what those charges are for”. It was my mom’s first time hiring a lawyer to help her get the ticket dismissed. She said she would’ve rather just paid the ticket instead of having to pay the extra fee for getting a lawyer who didn’t do anything for her. She paid more oop. She or anyone we know will not be using this service again.
