As a Northville resident, it’s troubling to see a firm representing efforts that appear aimed at blocking community events and city improvements supported by many residents. Legal advocacy is part of the system, but the broader impact of these actions feels divisive in a community that values cooperation and transparency. Many of us hope local professionals will contribute to strengthening the community rather than deepening conflict.

I have never written a review before, but I thought I should write one now so hopefully it may help someone else I’ve been a caregiver for my mother since January 2024 and soon after becoming her caregiver, I had a conflict with a family member. I tried to navigate the Wayne County probate court system by myself without representation, the sleepless nights got to me.I interviewed 3 or more lawyers with no luck, when trying to explain my issues to them and what I’ve been going through for nine months without representation they were more concerned about letting me know their retainer fee, and if I could afford it. there was no empathy or compassion with them about my situation. That being said, I finally met Joe Corriveau. From the first consultation with him I knew he was different, he actually cared about what I was telling him and took an interest in my situation. Joe enlightened me about his knowledge of estate planning and the importance of having it in place he is very passionate and knowledgeable about his profession. I made a new friend! I want to thank you Joe and Joy.
