Mr.Cotton is a lazy attorney. If you're not paying big bucks outta pocket, you may as well just defend yourself. I was the VICTIM of domestic violence and done so wrong by the state of Kansas on numerous different occasions (the DA even sent him emails stating so) and because Mr cotton wasn't hired by me and was appointed by the state he made sure to let me know that his ONLY JOB is make sure I knew what was going on legally in the courtroom and aside from that he wouldnt help me with anything else. I didn't even commit a crime and Mr.Cotton couldn't even stand up for me and defend me as a victim....so I can only imagine how he'd defend someone who was being accused of a crime. Run far away from this law firm. They clearly only care about money.

They do not return phone calls. Been calling for weeks leaving voicemail messages and not one time got a call back.

This attorney is the worst you could have on your case. He does nothing to help, ignores your messages and leaves them on read, ignores your multiple phone call attempts, and doesn’t bother visiting his clients before any scheduled courts. He is worthless and shouldn’t even be called an attorney.

This public defender is bye far the worst lawyer my daughter has had to put up with. He has continued her case 3 times won't go see her she has been in sedgwick County now for 5 months. He's not ever returned one phone call or went to talk to my daughter . So I'm just saying ppl if your stuck with this firm .please for your own sake fire them immediately and get u new lawyer...

These guys NEVER return calls or emails or letters. I was in Sedgwick county jail and had Pittman as my lawyer. I sent him a letter and an email and NEVER GOT A RESPONSE. I talked to several people who had their people call Cottman and Pittman and they NEVER RETURNED THEIR CALLS EITHER.

Cotton needs to talk to who he is supposed to be representing

Has not contacted client since Feb. Does not return calls. Does not answer calls. Does not answer e-mails.

Exceptional work Mr. Pittman the service he provides his clients goes above beyond, he will go above and beyond! If you are looking for a lawyer that will fight for you Mr. Pittman is the one!
