Clancy did minimal work during my divorce, I trusted him to look out for me, but now few years later, I ended up learning that that I am liable for a huge loan my ex took out in our both names even though he kept the house and the business. Clancy Covert and Sam Byrd changed our lives. We were living in a world where a mother had automatic full custody due to the couple never being married. She used that fact to control our lives financially and physically because there was not a court order. We could have the child all day almost everyday but if we didn’t make her car payment she could call the police and say we kidnapped the child. It felt impossible to come from a place without even having the fathers name on the birth certificate at 5 years old to having primary custody but they made it happen for us. We can finally use our money for ourselves and have piece of mind that the child isn’t going to be stripped away. We have a schedule to plan vacations and make holiday plans with my family out of town. I can not recommend them enough.

Clancy Covert was a life saver for us! We have used him twice for custody cases and he showed up for battle both times. The first case he got us emergency custody when DCS was telling us there was nothing that could be done, then full custody on our court date. It was with great sadness that I write this negative review, I used Sam in 2013 and had a great experience. I was denied the opportunity to be able to deal with Sam again this time even though I asked directly for Sam and was told I needed to deal with Kevin, so I agreed to follow their process. They scheduled for me a consultation for 4:00PM today and I arrived at 3:55PM and was asked to wait and was told that Kevin would be with me Shortly. Well at 4:20PM, I was told the Kevin had stepped out of the office and should be back shortly. I am not sure why Kevin would step out of the office knowing that he had a client waiting on him since 3:55PM, of it he was out of the office already why I was not told when I arrived at 3:55PM and was not informed until 4:20PM, this is VERY unprofessional. I realize that things happen and things come up, appointments are scheduled to be respectful of peoples times on ends. This office did not even consider or take into account my time, this was a waste of my time and gas for me to visit the office at the time they set for me and the paralegal Kevin did not even feel it was appropriate to keep our preset appointment time, nor did the office staff even tell me he was not even in the office until I had already been waiting 25 minutes, this is VERY unprofessional. I would tell other people considering this office to consider that they may or may not actually get a consultation on the date and time that they schedule it.
