Worthless! Didn’t help me at all! I called the attorney after I received my decision from the review board and he just sat there breathing on the phone. Find any other law firm!

Mr. crisp made sure that didn’t have to do any jail time. His team is efficient and answers the phone. They are currently helping me in getting licensed to become a paramedic by sending all documents I asked for. They truly care about their clients!!

Attorney Blake Kollmann and the team at Crisp & Associates did an incredible job representing me in my military matters. I would confidently recommend them to any Veteran who needs the highest quality of help. Thanks Team.

Veterans and service members, exercise caution when choosing an attorney. In the spring of 2023, I paid a $5000 nonrefundable retainer to Mr. Jonathan Crisp specifically for drafting a written rebuttal in the event I elected to accept an Article 15. This payment was not for trial representation or full legal defense—only for the preparation of a rebuttal letter. Despite this, no written product was ever delivered. Communication was inconsistent, and when I asked about proceeding to court-martial instead, Mr. Crisp said something to the effect of, “I don’t like to play chicken.” He also informed me that the $5000 retainer would not apply toward any future trial defense; in other words, a separate full payment would be required. I terminated the attorney-client relationship shortly thereafter. If you’re currently serving and in need of legal counsel, I strongly recommend doing thorough research before committing to representation.

I had a great experience with this firm. A good lawyer will get a " not guilty" a great lawyer will prevent it from going to trial. They are great lawyers. it is essential to get them involved as early as possible. At first i was worried about the lack of updates but playing the waiting game is part of military bureaucracy. Benjamin Young was strategic and helped me through one of the worst periods of my life.

I want to sincerely thank Attorney Adam Leydig for the outstanding legal representation and support he provided during a challenging time in my military career. From the very beginning, Adam was professional, knowledgeable, and fully committed to securing the best possible outcome for me—and he delivered. His deep understanding of military law and his strategic approach were instrumental in achieving a positive resolution to my case. What truly sets Adam apart, though, is his continued dedication even after the case was closed. I reached out to him for a favor following the conclusion of my case, and without hesitation, he extended a helping hand. That level of integrity and commitment speaks volumes about the kind of advocate and person he is. I also want to highlight the incredible support I received from his paralegal, George. He is hands down one of the best communicators I’ve ever worked with—quick to respond to emails, always on top of phone calls, and consistently clear and professional. George made the entire process feel smooth and manageable, which speaks to the efficiency and excellence of their entire team. If you’re looking for an attorney who truly cares, fights hard, and follows through—look no further than Adam Leydig and his team. I am deeply grateful for their help and cannot recommend them highly enough.

I want to write a fair and honest review. Trying my best to be unbiased and solely factual. With that being said, here was my experience with this firm. I started my communication with them in November of 2021. They were very nice and supportive on the phone initially. After I paid the full amount up front, I was assigned to attorney Gordon. He spoke with me and was initially very encouraging and truly made me believe that he could get my upgrade done. Now after paying and starting out I feel like things went down from there. Looking back I believe they just wanted my money and did not truly believe they could help me with a discharge upgrade from the Army. One of the first things I noticed was a big turnover with their clerks or staff other than attorney's. Everytime I seemed to call which is another thing, I did not receive any type of update at all unless I called to ask for one. Then when I did there seemed to be a different paralegal working on my case everytime. So after 3 years of waiting and calling and asking if there was anything they could do. I finally got an answer of No, to my upgrade. Now, I get alot of the time and waiting was on the government and the backlog because of Covid. However I believe there are more professional ways to address that matter with a client who paid in full. As well as looking into trying to get answers for a client as to when or why regarding time. So after I received my answer back from the Government, I learned why they denied me and without going into too much detail and after speaking to another law firm. It seems like Crisp and Associates failed to properly do a good job with my case and include the right information needed to have a better chance at getting a change in my discharge. So for me and my experience I would say it was not very good at all. I personally would not recommend this company to other veterans at all. Especially when I have spoken to other veterans I know who had worse situations and cases than me and got overturned, very disappointing to say the least.

Finding out that my friend's case has been with the office for 3 years and they just now said they are finishing the draft. Sounds like shady stuff

Beware: This law firm is notorious for inaction and excuses. After paying, expect your case to languish and be shuffled between attorneys. Inquiring about progress will only yield a barrage of legal jargon meant to mask their lack of effort. Avoid this firm at all costs. Seek legal representation elsewhere. They will NOT refund your money due to their inaction.

Mr. Crisp and his team provided world-class service and support during all phases of my legal matter. They were kind, timely, and experts in their field and I will be forever grateful for their assistance during a very difficult phase of my life which they were able to successfully resolve.

I highly recommend Crisp and Associates for your legal needs. I've obtained services multiple times over the last few years and have had nothing but great personalized service. Attorney Crisp walked me through the legal process with ease and was available by phone and/or email all hours of the day. No question or concern went unanswered. Attorney Crisp and his staff are friendly, professional, and fought for me to get the best possible outcome during a difficult time. He absolutely went above and beyond for me. Should I ever need a lawyer in the future, there is nobody else I would want to represent me.

I worked with Jonathan Crisp and a few of his associates when my daughter was in a tough situation as a minor. They all made me feel so comfortable with the process, answered all my questions, and if I called and they weren’t available, they always returned my call in a timely manner. If I chose another attorney for this legal matter I truly believe the outcome wouldn’t have been as great as it was. Jonathan fought hard to make sure we received the best possible outcome for my daughter and I couldn’t be happier with the representation we received.

Adam Leydig and Savannah did an excellent job and I received an acceptable outcome. Military legal matters can be slow; however, anytime there was an update Adam called me right away. Adam wrote a robust rebuttal letter on my behalf and developed and executed a plan that secured my benefits. Adam took the time to assist and guide me on other matters as well (security clearance procedures, planning for separation, etc.). Savannah was very responsive as well, most often responding to emails the same day. This level of care and promptness made me feel like I wasn’t alone during the most challenging period of my life. I would recommend Adam Leydig to any service member who needs legal representation.

Response from owner

Unsatisfied with the communication provided by this office. Very hard to get a hold of, almost never received updates on the case. Johnathan Crisp showed little to no interest in my case, even expressing his desire to finish it all together as soon as possible. He never discussed appellate options with me after the case concluded.

Response from owner

Good afternoon! I'm sorry that you had a negative experience with our firm. We try to keep our clients updated as possible throughout the journey of their case. All cases are unique, and we may not receive updates from the agencies we work with as often as we would like. We make sure to take the time to follow up with them in a timely manner to ensure the case is making progress. Attorney Jonathan Crisp is serious and focused on all the matters that the firm represents. If there are any unfinished items that you would like to discuss with us, please feel free to contact us at 717-412-4676. We appreciate your valuable feedback and will learn from this experience!

I'm not really sure what to make of my experience so far. I was very excited to work with attorney Hoover and paid my fee in full. I had a good experience until he deployed. After that I recieved a letter saying I was re-assigned and 12 months later I still have absolutely no movement, updates, or contact on my case. I still have time but it is limited and I really am not certain why I seem to be one of the few unlucky clients they have in this review list. Unfortunately it does seem like there is a risk of falling through the cracks and the attorneys I have as clients in my day job seem to feel this is unusual. I am hoping to be able to write an updated review soon with a positive outcome. *update* it has been almost two years and I still cannot get a completed document. I have had some versions sent to me with incomplete or incorrect information but I still cannot get any form of response without persistently following up.

Can’t speak for all the attorneys but my experience with this law firm was not worth the incredulous amount of money payed up front for representation. If your stationed overseas, good luck getting timely updates or information about your case/situation. At the very least, a proactive lawyer from this law firm would’ve been enough to justify the costs for representation, but I felt the overall sense that I wasn’t a priority or cared for by my attorney who was supposed to be my representation. Good luck getting a email response back if you do decide to pay your hard earned money here, and prepare to wait months for very little information to help you overcome the ambiguity of your legal matter.

Response from owner

Hey there, thanks for taking the time out of your day to provide us with your honest feedback! We do our best to provide timely updates on every client's matter as soon as we receive new information about the case. Due to every matter being unique, there are situations that can delay information provided to us from third parties. Carefully reviewing the details of the matter can take additional time. We strive to receive the best possible outcome for our clients in the shortest time possible. Please feel free to call us at 717-412-4676 and let us know if there is anything we can do to improve.
