Everyone needs to go to Attorney Modla. He is very professional and knowledgeable, and helps guide you through the legal process. 100000000000000/10!!!!!!!!!!
If I could give them fifty stars, it still would not be enough to express how happy I am with their services! Five stars are not simply enough. I was representing myself in a case for nearly three years, and it reached the point where a trial was possible, I knew it was wise to retain an attorney. Since so much had already transpired, I struggled to find anyone willing to take my case. However, what they did do was refer me to Cromer Babb & Porter, and some specifically mentioned by name attorney Shannon Polvi — and I now understand why. Shannon and her team were consistently professional, respectful, transparent, kind, and highly knowledgeable. They advocated for me effectively and with great care and passion. Shortly after she came on board, my case was resolved in a timely manner, and I could not be more grateful. I sincerely appreciate Cromer Babb & Porter, and especially Shannon and her team. I would absolutely work with them again and I highly recommend their services to anyone who needs someone to stand up for them, but in a manner that is kind, professional, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and effective.
Thank you for the wonderful review!
Grateful to work with such kind and hard working people. Definitely recommend you will NOT be disappointed. Shannon went above and beyond for me. 10/10 !
I have hired this law firm for legal counsel more than once and have always been very satisfied with the outcome. Paul and Shannon have been extremely helpful!
I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Jacob Modla. From start to finish, he was professional, knowledgeable, and truly had my best interests at heart. Jacob took the time to explain every step of the process, kept me informed, and made sure I always felt supported and confident in the decisions being made. His attention to detail and dedication to achieving the best possible outcome made all the difference. I’m so grateful for his hard work and highly recommend Jacob Modla to anyone in need of an experienced and trustworthy attorney.
Thank you for the wonderful review! We're thrilled that you had a positive experience with our firm.
If you are a minority, be very careful with this lawfirm. I had two employment cases, one old and one new, so went with the oldest case first before my statute of limitations was up. He won, but it was a low amount so didnt really phase me due to my second case, cause my second recent case I felt was my STRONGEST case since he won with my weakest case, especially with all my proof I had stacked up against this company with letters, pictures, and texts. And he didnt even take the case, like he said. So was very disappointed and hurt that they thew me and that case under the bus that's when I felt low balled with the first. So was generous with the one star!!!

Mr. Modla took my disability case when everyone else wouldn't touch it. Even though it was a quite large company, we won the case. I would definitely recommend Cromer, Babb & Porter, LLC to anyone who needs help, even if everyone else says "No!".
Great service
I highly recommend. Jill and Paul were very nice and professional. Great firm! I was referred to Atty. Porter and CPB by three DIFFERNT attorneys at three different law firms.
I’m disappointed to leave this review, especially after a previously positive experience with Beth, who was compassionate and helpful during a difficult time. Unfortunately, my recent interactions with the firm left me feeling dismissed and unsupported. After receiving distressing news from my employer, I contacted the firm to schedule a follow-up. I was informed that Beth would be unavailable, and I attempted to schedule with another associate. The call experience quickly turned negative: I was abruptly hung up on multiple times by associates handling the phone, had to call from a different number just to get through, and was met with unprofessional and dismissive behavior. I could literally hear the scheduling associates whisper and talk about me when I called back after the multiple hang-up's. One in which she refused to give her first name, which should be a basic greeting for anywhere you call. I was already emotionally overwhelmed, and the lack of patience or understanding from the staff made a difficult situation worse. I raised my concerns in writing, hoping for clarity or support, but was met with a formal reply stating the firm would not move forward with representation, citing a "breakdown in communication." I completely agreed. I would have expected a better experience. While I appreciate the firm’s willingness to recommend other legal resources, I expected a higher standard of professionalism, especially when someone reaches out in distress. A little empathy could have gone a long way.
Jake Modla was a true professional at Cromer Babb& Porter , LLC . A law firm the common person can trust. They worked their tails off .
Thank you, Barry!
Mrs. Harper Hutson was highly professional and knowledgeable. She handled my case with care and expertise, making the process smooth and anxiety free. I am happy with the outcome of my case and I have her to thank. I truly apprecatie her dedication and would highly recommend her to anyone in need of legal assistance.
Thank you Michael!
Don't waste your time or your money. I want a refund of at least half of my money. paid 7500.00 in cash to Cromer Babb & Porter to represent me in an Employment case. It took them over a year to get a position statement from my employer, and that was after my prodding, waiting, and begging them to reach out to ETV for it. Next, they didn't even write a rebuttal to their position statement, or go over it with me, line by line. They should have at least directed me to actually do this, if they didn't have the time to do it. Next, they filed another EEOC claim, after I was fired. EEOC gave me a Right to sue letter. They said it would cost me another flat fee of $7500.00 !!!! Next they said they couldn't help me any further, because they were "bogged down" with cases, and didn't have time for my case. They gave me a copy of my Right to sue letter from the EEOC, and said "good luck" you can find another attorney or have that attorney combine the two cases. They did a lukewarm, non aggressive job on my case, after paying them $7500.00 up front. This is terrible. I used up all of my savings to hire these attorneys. I can't afford another attorney. Don't use these people.

I was recommended to Paul Porter by my workers' compensation attorney. My wife and I came to Paul during one of the worst times in our lives. He listened to our case, provided an honest assessment, and believed we had a strong claim. Throughout the process, he was clear, honest, and fully committed. When it came time to see Paul in action, it was absolutely brilliant. I truly feel sorry for any legal team that has to face him on the other side of the table. Not only did he successfully settle our case, but he also restored the peace of mind that had been taken from us, allowing us to live our lives again.
Thank you!
Great experience, Attny, Mr. Chance Sturup was very knowledgeable.
