I have used Justin twice for both a custody case and a modification. Both him and Rachel have exceeded expectations both times. I was able to gain rights to my children and now I have sole custody. Easy to talk to, responds in a timely manner, punctual and and can clarify the process very well. I would highly recommend him for anyone who is seeking custody for their children or a parenting plan modification. I think that Justin and his wife are experienced attorney's. In my opinion, they were not a good fit for me in the year that I worked with them. I was able to get a better results in my military divorce and child custody case being represented by Harris, Harris, Sommer & Peppard, LLC, in Warrensburg, Missouri. My attorney was Tomei O. Peppard and she was able to stand by her word, get my case resolved without me having to wait a month or so to hear back from her and she made me feel priority even though I wasn't her only client. This firm was also able to get my case resolved in a matter of months, without purposely burning through my retainer fee and I wasn't kept waiting and wondering about what was next. I now have a great child custody agreement and am able to see my daughter every other week!

Justin and Rachel are two of the most genuine, down to earth people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. I had a very complex, out of state case and the odds were not in my favor. Justin turned the tables for me. He worked tirelessly, digging up records and finding lies that the defendant told, for record. Whenever I called or emailed, Rachel was extremely quick to respond to address any of my questions or needs, it is almost unheard of to have an attorney that does what Justin did for me. Bottom line, his legal service fees are well beyond reasonable, especially for the results he can obtain for you, circumstantially, of course. He is honest, he will present every option available to you, he is very optimistic and is not one of those stoic, depressing lawyers who basically does what you could in court. I was very impressed with his efforts and results. He is an iron lever, prying through a seemingly immovable situation.

If I could give -0 Stars I would. I don't feel like Justin cared about my case or my kids. He was so late to court more than once to where the judge called my name & I had to explain I was still waiting on my lawyer. He never came to court with any paperwork or a briefcase, just his phone. He didn't try to argue my case or fight for me he was basically just a yes man to the judge. I paid him $2,500 upfront, just to lose custody to my kid's father who was living in a homeless shelter at the time with my kids when I was living in a whole house!! which I found out later ON MY OWN. They don't do the footwork that's needed. He was never prepared, it seemed like he wasn't even trying & as soon as my kids father was given custody I had to call him to find out that was the end of his services. I do not recommend this firm if you want a lawyer that cares about your kids or your case. He gets success & good reviews on simple cases, mine was not & I feel like he just chose not to put the work in. The definition of a lawyer & who I saw in court were polar opposites. & yes I'm still upset 3 yrs later because I'm not privileged or getting government assistance, so I'm still fighting this case to this day. Edit: 4 hrs after the owners reply to my review.. It's really weird to me that Google reviews make it to where after the owner replies & can make the clients out to be a liar & or a disgruntled client, you can't reply to he or she after. So I edited this.. He's used the excuse on several of his bad reviews, that he "can't discuss it" then says something to elude to it being the client's fault. Pay attention. If my case was so bad that you couldn't do anything about it well you should have said that instead of charging thousands of dollars up front just for no results at all. So I just encourage people to do your research & understand that I'm not the only person that said, it seems like they don't do their footwork & he shows up to court unprepared. He works for the family court system & the money, not the clients & DEFINITELY not the kids.

Excellent communication, very honest about the entire process and helped my fiancé gain more custody of his daughter.
