Mr. Crump was selected by attorney Dwight G. Rodgers to serve as State Farm's arbitrator for an arbitration panel to resolve my uninsured motorist claim against State Farm. My attorneys emailed the name of an individual to Mr. Crump as our proposed neutral arbitrator for the three person panel. Mr. Crump failed to respond or even acknowledge our proposal, despite repeated requests to do so, for SEVEN weeks, and finally did so only after I, the opposing client, informed him that I was prepared to file a complaint with the State Bar if he continued to fail to acknowledge or respond. His inaction for such an extended period of time reflects poorly on both Mr. Crump and his law firm. Such a breach of the NC Lawyer Code of Professionalism is inexcusable. I would not recommend Mr. Crump to anyone who expects an attorney to promptly respond to opposing counsel in order to move a case forward to a successful resolution.
