After dealing with a few lawyers at this big Florida law firm and getting nowhere for almost 3 years, we were passed on to Cruz and Payne, (Jake Perez) to be exact and he immediately went to work batting down the ridiculous offers made by the other insurance company. I wish I wouldn't have been sent over to Cruz law firm, from the first lawyer I actually called. Cruz made me feel like I was wrong for suing the entities that were over the construction site I got hurt on. I slipped on a tiny screw, while walking on 4 foot stilts. I broke my elbow because I landed on a concrete floor. Cruz did not once ask about my injury's current state. I did not want to sue, but I had to because I couldn't work for 90 days plus. And I have a Wife and 3 young kids. My injury is over a year old now. And I still feel sharp pain's rating between 7-10 Everytime everyday. When I brush my teeth, use the TV remote, hold my phone, and pick up my kids, and while I'm working. I wish I would have took my case away from Cruz and took it to an actual " injury lawyer" because my injury is still with me everyday. My injury needs attention still. I know my case was treated harshly and barbaric because it was a construction injury and the guy I was working for didn't have insurance. God bless the people on this earth.
