Make sure you triple check your documents before signing anything with them. I had to inform them that my husband wasn’t on the loan multiple times throughout this process and they had to redo the paperwork without his name I think three times before they had all the papers corrected. That's three times too many. When I asked about why they keep including his name they tried to say they always have space for a POA if needed, but then eventually and magically after I questioned it he was off the documents. I don’t even care that mistakes were made but man o man when I called to get them corrected they all pointed the finger at each other and blamed every one in the office. Completely unprofessional. I don’t care if it was Tina’s fault or Brenda or whoever, just fix the document. They miscalculated my return, spelled my realtors name incorrectly and left out my signature block on the last document. I bought the home originally with them doing the paperwork so I’m not sure what went wrong in the last couple years but I would never use them again.

I do wish you had reached out to me or one of the other attorneys in the office directly at some point before taking to the internet, but looking into the matter now I see most of your complaints are valid. Because you were out of state, your seller documents were sent in advance of closing to be signed elsewhere. The employees you mention were being assisted with this “mail away” process by someone new who, in hindsight, did not yet understand the processes and software as well as expected. That training is our responsibility, is something we take seriously, and is being addressed.
