I hired Dylan Davis to represent me in JP court. Unfortunately, he arrived late to the hearing and did not appear fully prepared. The case materials were not organized, and I ended up presenting all of the supporting documentation myself. After the unfavorable ruling, I raised concerns about the level of preparation and asked about next steps. I was initially told he would not be moving forward with the matter. When I requested a refund of the $500 fee due to concerns about the representation, the response I received in his text included statements such as “Go for it” and “Not going to be extorted for fees.” While I understand that outcomes cannot be guaranteed, professionalism, preparation, and communication matter. Based on my experience, I would have expected a higher standard of representation.

Have Dylan on my criminal case and he is getting me more then expected he is the most understandable and reasonably priced attorney for the work he puts in..Highly recommend him and will use him for all my legal stuff from here on out.

I contacted this attorney seeking representation in an active civil matter. During our phone call, I attempted to explain an important aspect of my case, but my explanations were repeatedly dismissed, and I felt shut down rather than heard despite my efforts to clarify. The conversation became unproductive, and after the call ended, I received a text message characterizing my response as rude. The focus remained on explaining that documents not signed by a judge are generally not considered court orders. While that point may be true in a court context, it did not address the specific issue I was raising, which involved a state agency’s Agreed Order. After the call, I explained the same issue in writing via text message. Once it was clarified in writing, he acknowledged understanding the document and indicated he would represent me at trial. I then promptly emailed all requested case documents the same day for review. Despite that, I never received any response, acknowledgment, or follow-up after sending the materials. Communication, attentiveness, and follow-through are critical when evaluating legal representation, and based on my experience, those expectations were not met. Response to the firms reply: For clarity, there was no argument. I was attempting to explain a specific document relevant to my case, and the discussion became unproductive because we were not aligned on that issue and continuing it did not feel constructive. At that point, I chose to end the call. I did not seek further interaction after that; the firm initiated follow-up by text, at which point I clarified the matter in writing. My review reflects my experience with the communication process and the lack of follow-up after documents were sent. That’s it.

I felt heard and very much listened to, he is a very Family oriented, Young Professional who knows so much and makes a great Impact in the Courthouse. Proceed with Extreme Caution I cannot recommend this attorney based on our experience. After initially agreeing to assist with our legal matter, communication became problematic and the representation never materialized. Most concerning, we were later informed that he intended to work with the opposing party in our case. We have documented several issues: - Initial consultation and agreement to represent us, followed by extended delays - Lack of clear communication about case status - Stated intention to align with the opposing party - A federal complaint has been filed against this attorney, which he appealed unsuccessfully - Subsequent threats of legal action against us for posting this review There appear to be ongoing regulatory issues with the Texas State Bar that potential clients should be aware of. The attorney has made conflicting statements about whether we were clients—claiming no attorney-client relationship existed while simultaneously asserting our communications were “confidential.” The delays in receiving services contributed to our case escalating to federal court when it might have been resolved at an earlier stage. Our counter-claims have since been approved by the court. I encourage anyone considering this attorney to thoroughly research their disciplinary history and proceed carefully.
