Daniel was extremely rude the two times I spoke with him. He is partnered with MetLife through insurance, once he realized this he figured any way he could turn me away for a simple legal matter. I would not recommend his services to anyone.
Thank you for your feedback. Attorneys are required to follow strict professional and ethical rules regarding when we can prepare legal documents for someone. In some situations, particularly where questions arise about a person’s legal capacity or whether a document can be properly executed, an attorney may be ethically required to decline the request.

When that occurs, the responsible course is to advise the caller that another attorney may review the matter and provide their own independent opinion. This helps protect both the caller and the individual for whom the document is being requested.

Because attorneys are bound by strict confidentiality obligations, I cannot discuss the details of any consultation publicly, even when a review is posted. We ask to see all new injury clients in person to convey to them critical early information that adds value to their claim. We were unable to contact or meet with Shelly so we respectfully declined the case and referred her to other counsel. We wish her a good result in the matter.

The case was presented to Daniel's office over a week before he rudely declined to take on the case or advise. He is rude and Unprofessional. Edit - 11.13.2024 I found a practice who was able to help me with this dilemma, hey Daniel, reach out to Mr. Matt Curry - MPC law, he can show you where you messed up. This matter was resolved by MPC Law in July 2024. Understand, Daniel, that when you say "no" others say "yes"! Being an Attorney comes with belief in the common person, not what you believe is right. Peace and Blessings into 2025, sir.

Response from owner

My firm politely declined to represent Ms. Courtney. We wish her good luck with her legal matter.

I'd have to agree with the remarks about Daniel being rude. I was in an accident a few months back and while I understand why he would not take on the case (as he said himself, there is no money for him unless I was injured), he told me that I screwed up my case and it was ruined. In declining, his attitude suggested I had wasted his time (4 minutes on the dot to be exact). I was left feeling absolutely awful when getting off the phone with him. He chuckled while I was explaining my situation as well. Very pompous. Do yourself a favor and find someone with a little more compassion. Lol – you DID NOT wish me luck 😂 Your last words to me were literally, “this case is ruined and screwed up.” And then you hung up. I’m not upset about the realities. I simply was seeking input from an attorney. You were the one who had an attitude because this case wouldn’t bring you money. I had no expectations, but I did expect someone to treat me with respect and that’s something that you did not do.

we do have sympathy for the predicament that this potential client will experience due to the delay in seeking legal counsel after an accident. So that we can help put the case in the right direction. It’s very important to see a lawyer as soon as possible after an accident to gather from the lawyer valuable information about how to proceed and protect your rights. Because of the delay that , this lady took in seeking legal counsel. The case was unfortunately damage to the extent that we were unable to accept it and we are sorry if our declination of the case was not as sympathetic as it should be. I do have sympathy for people dealing with insurance companies because as a general rule, they treat their customers rather badly . We simply respectfully declined her case and wished her luck. Sometimes people are upset by the realities of the legal system but I always try to give straight answers.

Called MR. Fletcher because I received a note that I was getting sued for a “private sale” because there was minor things wrong with the car I didn’t know. Anyways I explained it all to mr. fletcher and he shortly realized what is going on and that the lady is trying to sue me as if I was a dealership, his response “don’t call me or my office” then hung up. - why do you have to lie ? You clearly hung up on me. It’s okay. Not pressed . Just letting everybody know how you treated the situation 😂😂😂😂

Response from owner

Mr. Wright is not my client and he was advised politely by us today not to have further contact with our office about the matter he referenced above because my office has closed our file.

His review is false and misleading, in two ways, in that we ended our conversation by wishing him well, not by hanging up and further, that we never threaten,as a matter of longstanding policy, to sue anyone.

We do, however, file suit if our clients legal needs require a lawsuit to protect their interest.

Feel free to call us for advice about civil matters where a suit might be necessary as we often take matters to courts of appropriate jurisdiction when necessary and in the clients best interest.

I have used Dan Fletcher on multiple occassions. He was very personable and attentive to my needs. He, and his office, have always been available when I have needed questions answered or concerns addressed. His fees are very reasonable. I have used him in Franklin county primarily, but even when I used his services in a county over an hour away, his fees were still reasonable. Dan is extremely well versed and has been able to handle a wide variety of legal needs, and for that, I highly recommend him. Thanks Dan!

Response from owner

Mr. Roese, thank you so much for your kind words, call anytime.

I hired Mr. Fletcher feeling good about winning my case I presented to him when meeting. I hired him for two cases. One criminal and the other custody. The first case went smoothly and we got the case dismissed and expunged off my record. At this point Mr. Fletcher explains to me the charges couldn't be used against me in future cases. The beginning of my custody case he told me he see no reason why the judge would change the custody agreement we had already in place. Once we found out who was going to be representing the other party I sensed some intimidation from Mr Flitcher and it made me feel uneasy because Mr. Flitcher spoke of nothing but positive things about this attorney when I had heard not so many positive things about the same attorney. After my second court date and not coming to an agreement between the two parties I mentioned to Mr. Fletcher I was interested in taking the the case to trial. He informed I would have to pay him more money if we decided to take that route. Never did he tell me I would lose and or why. After taking a day off work to sit with Mr. Fletcher to possibly settle out of court I made a proposal for him to present to the other party. I was told it would be done asap. After about a week's time the proposal still wasn't presented to the other party until I called Mr Flitcher to complain about the matter. It was done immediately. Mr. Flitcher didn't get back to me until the night before trial with a counter offer he knew I wouldn't agree to. The same night he also told me to bring witnesses because we were set for trial and it would be a good help if I were to bring some. That's what I did and proceeded to court thinking were going to trial. Once I get to court I see Mr Flitcher has already talk to the other party. When I see that me and the other party aren't coming to an agreement once again I tell Mr Flitcher I want to take it to trial. He responds and says "Your going to lose" At this point I'm very frustrated because he had me thinking we're going to trial and now he tells me I'm gonna lose. I didn't care about losing the case I just wanted him to do what I paid him to do and that was fight for me. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. He later informs me that the other party is spending money they can't afford and don't attend to take it to trial. I'm thinking in my head "are you my lawyer or theirs??" Had I knew this was going to happen in would of never hired him to begin with. Then he tells me they can use the charges that were dismissed and expunged against me in court. Which was the opposite of what he told me prior to getting the charges dismissed and expunged off my record. which was why we did it so that it couldn't be used against me. Now I'm confused and frustrated and fed up. I don't feel Mr. Fletcher was being 100% honest with me about my case and he didn't do everything he said he would do as far as taking my case to trial and using the evidence, witnesses and documents I had ready for when we went to trial. I had to call and remind Mr Flitcher to do things and make sure he was doing them. Maybe my case was too small for him. Or maybe since he was already paid in full (expect for trial) he felt he didn't have to put much effort in the case since according to him I was going to lose anyway. I know if I were a lawyer I would NEVER tell my client they are gonna lose without putting up a fight. Why even take the case? Waste of time and money. I honestly think I would have done a better job representing myself. I will make sure to do my homework next time I hire an attorney.
