Johnathon R. Law was recommended to me by my boss who is also an attorney to take a look at a botched roofing job for my 78 year old father. My now deceased father had cancer, is a Vietnam Veteran, and was trying to get an audience with Mr. Law to discuss his legal issues he had with a local and national construction company. My father was asked to drop off all the information he had on this matter and a consultation was to take place on what legal recourse could be taken. After dropping off the documents and a flash drive my father made numerous calls concerning this matter because time was of essence and was always told Mr. Law would call him back. Crickets. Not a single call was made by Mr. Law or his assistants. I told my father fine obviously he shouldn’t do business with a lawyer or firm that can’t make a simple courtesy return phone call back. That’s just rude and unprofessional. As recently as last week I’ve spoken to the receptionist and left Mr. Law a voicemail asking for the documents that my deceased father left there at his office for review. Crickets. No return phone call. Mr. Law may be a wonderful attorney, I don’t know, but I can’t in good faith recommend using him for counsel if the man can’t return a simple phone call or have one of his assistants pick up the phone and call someone back. I work 70-80 hours a week if not more. I fully understand the meaning of being overwhelmed at times with a limited window to get back with people. However, I make the time to call people back, answer their emails, and or text. If I didn’t my employer would most probably discipline me and ultimately dismiss me from employment and I’m one of their top sales reps. That kind of unprofessional behavior is not tolerated by my employer. In my line of work we deal with lawyers on a regular basis, and I can’t recall a single lawyer this unprofessional, therefore I can’t in good faith recommend using Mr. Law as attorney I’d hire to represent me.
