I hired this attorney for a civil protection order case and a custody matter. During the custody trial, I experienced multiple delays, including a year-long wait for a court-ordered DNA test in a jurisdiction where he regularly practices. He requested several continuances in my CPO trial, admitting each time that he had not reviewed critical evidence I had provided. I was concerned about a potential breach of attorney-client confidentiality when information I had only shared with him appeared to reach opposing counsel after I changed representation. His lack of preparation contributed to an unfavorable judgment—a two-year permanent order—which the opposing party has since tried to weaponize through repeated claims of violations, leading to additional legal costs on my end.
