I originally posted a review for Darby Law Practice back in July 2024 after they helped me navigate a difficult debt situation and achieve a discharge. At that time, I praised Tricia Darby for her kindness, patience, and expertise, and I mentioned how the office staff, especially Mandie, made me feel supported. I thought my journey with them was complete, and I was happy to be debt-free. However, in December 2024, my case had to be reopened. Due to a relative passing away after my bankruptcy filing, a creditor used an aggressive tactic to try and stake a claim to an inheritance I might receive. What followed was a long year. Throughout 2025, I worked hard on my own to move the case through probate court. Fortunately, we were able to move the case into bankruptcy court, where I regained the full support of my attorneys. While I mostly worked with Tricia in the beginning, I finally got to work closely with Kevin Darby during the hearing. He did an amazing job presenting my case to the judge. Yesterday—thanks to the diligent work of both Tricia and Kevin—the creditor’s claim was finally denied. This firm didn't abandon me when my case got complicated. They saw it through. Tricia and Kevin Darby are outstanding lawyers and fantastic human beings. Mandie in the office is still absolutely wonderful. You can tell the entire team works hard and has lots of clients, but they never make you feel like a burden. They take on your case with care and sincerity and see you through to the end. If you are considering bankruptcy or facing an impossible debt situation, I cannot recommend Darby Law Practice enough. They are the best legal team you could possibly want in your corner. While my case still has a little bit left to go, the biggest hurdle has been conquered, and I am forever grateful.

Honestly everything leading up to the point of this was a whirlwind when I thought I was getting things on track. Tricia and her team were absolutely phenomenal!
