When I first called him, I was distraught, displaced due to an apartment fire (picture below) and genuinely unsure what rights I even had—or whether I could afford legal help at all. Hard to recommend someone who I didn’t really get to interact with. I called the number I was given but got no response for weeks.. decided to text the number instead and received a single text in response. When I replied with additional information, it was not acknowledged or replied to in any way. Very disappointing and unfortunately someone I can’t and won’t recommend to others. Hopefully you have better luck than I did though! ETA: Dave, you responded more quickly to a Google review than you did to a potential client. Sad.

Dave Pantos was my attorney for a tenant vs. property management case due to landlord negligence and lease violations. I would go higher than five stars if I could! Dave helped us recover our security deposit after our unscrupulous ex-landlord withheld it and alleged without any evidence that we had stolen several appliances from our former home. At first, we contemplated representing ourselves, but I’m so glad we hired Dave. He thoughtfully walked us through each step of the process, from the initial demand letter to the filing of a lawsuit. His attention to detail and knowledge of landlord-tenant law was highly impressive. In the end, our landlord sent us a check for $2,500 and a written apology for accusing us of theft.
